Pekanbaru, Tuesday, October 6, 2026 — Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) Pekanbaru has once again demonstrated its capacity as a premier higher education institution by successfully hosting the Induction and Oath-Taking Ceremony for Functional Officials and Civil Servants (PNS) under the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Corrections (Ditjenpas) Riau. The solemn ceremony, held at the campus's main auditorium, Prima Bertuah Hall, on Tuesday (Oct 6), proceeded with great success and smoothness.

This event marked a monumental milestone for the Riau Corrections division, notably for 135 Candidate Civil Servant (CPNS) Prison Guards officially sworn in as PNS, alongside the promotion of functional officials to Young Expert Physicians.

The successful execution of this large-scale event drew direct commendation from the Head of the Riau Ditjenpas Office. In his address, he expressed deep appreciation and special praise for the facilities provided by UNPRI Pekanbaru. He lauded the magnificence and comfort of the campus facilities, particularly the Prima Bertuah Hall, noting that it is highly representative, modern, and ideal for supporting official state and institutional gatherings.

Addressing the newly inducted officers, the Head emphasized the importance of maintaining high integrity. "Never take this responsibility lightly. Let the oath you have just taken serve as a compass in every step of your dedication," he asserted.

He further cautioned the new civil servants against all forms of violations. "Stay away from drugs, illegal levies, and online gambling. Do not let a momentary lapse in judgment ruin your future, career, family, and the reputation of the Corrections service," he concluded.
