FKKG UNPRI Hosts Medical Dental Discovery Day (MD3) Batch 2

20 Freshmen Complete AI-Based Digital Matriculation

Medan, June 11, 2026 — The Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry (FKKG) at Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) held its Medical Dental Discovery Day (MD3) Batch 2 at the 12th-floor Hybrid Classroom, UNPRI Main Campus, on Friday (June 11, 2026). Twenty new medical and dental students participated both in-person and virtually via Zoom, continuing the digital matriculation program launched last May.

MD3 is a routine welcoming agenda for FKKG UNPRI freshmen, featuring two digital pre-lecture matriculation programs: Preparatory Undergraduate Learning for Medical Optimization (PULMO) for medical students, and Mentoring and Orientation for Learning Academic Readiness (MOLAR) for dentistry students. These programs are accessible via UNPRI’s e-Moodle platform, utilizing an AI-based personalized learning approach that offers interactive text, slides, and videos to accommodate diverse learning styles.

Dean of FKKG UNPRI, Prof. Dr. dr. H. Gusbakti Rusip, M.Sc., Sp.KKLP(K)., PKK., AIFM., AIFO-K., reaffirmed FKKG UNPRI's commitment to pedagogical innovation. "MD3 is not just an orientation; it serves as a foundational step designed to ensure every new student possesses solid academic readiness before entering their first-semester lectures," he stated. The event was also attended by Vice Dean I Dr. dr. Irza Haicha Pratama, M.K.M., as the Program Coordinator, and Vice Dean III drg. Susanto, M.Kes.

The hybrid format enables all students to engage fully in the matriculation program regardless of their location.
