Shaping Adaptive Creative Generation: FBK UNPRI Orientation Welcomes Creative Industry Young Talents.

Foster A Collaborative Spirit Geared Toward The Global Creative Industry

Medan, September 15, 2026 — The Faculty of Language and Communication (FBK) at Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) successfully hosted its Campus Life Introduction for New Students (PKKMB) on Tuesday (Sept 15, 2026). Designed with a dynamic and creative format, the event kicked off with an opening ceremony at the UNPRI Main Campus Main Hall, followed by program orientation sessions in classrooms, and concluded with exciting bonding games at Prima Square Mall.

The enthusiastic gathering was graced by FBK UNPRI Dean Dr. Dian Syahfitri, S.S., M.Hum., alongside program chairs, secretaries, academic administration staff, and faculty members. Hundreds of incoming freshmen represented FBK's four flagship study programs: Applied Bachelor's in Mandarin for Business Communication and Professional, Bachelor’s in Visual Communication Design (VCD), Bachelor’s in English Education, and Bachelor’s in Indonesian Language and Literature Education.

In her welcome address, the Dean emphasized FBK’s core identity as an innovative and adaptive institution that embraces technological advancements and contemporary trends. She noted that students choosing FBK UNPRI are not merely learning traditional language and communication; they are stepping into a progressive academic ecosystem that fuses linguistic prowess, visual creativity, and cross-cultural communication under one dynamic roof.

The three-tier PKKMB format—featuring a grand campus opening, focused program introductions, and a public closing celebration at Prima Square Mall—reflects FBK’s philosophy of extending education beyond classroom walls. The bonding games at Prima Square Mall served as a strategic milestone to strengthen peer connections across diverse disciplines, fostering the collaborative spirit inherent to the FBK UNPRI community.
