UNPRI, Medan - Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) once again recorded a significant milestone in Indonesian higher education. For the first time, UNPRI officially entered the QS Asia University 2026 international rankings, one of the most prestigious university assessment systems for global university rankings in the Asia region. In this inaugural debut, UNPRI immediately secured the 4th best university position in North Sumatra, confirming its reputation as an excellent national private campus capable of competing globally. The QS Asia University 2026 ranking is awarded based on several key indicators such as academic reputation, employer reputation, research quality and citations, number of international collaborations, proportion of foreign students and faculty, and global engagement capacity in news and achievements. UNPRI's entry into this prestigious ranking is a monumental achievement under the leadership of Rector Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting, M.Kes., AIFO-K., who prioritized UNPRI's transformation toward a World Class University 2026 through modern academic governance and an international-standard research ecosystem.
In recent years, UNPRI has strengthened campus internationalization through strategic cooperation with foreign universities and various global companies. Programs such as international internship, visiting professor, student mobility, student exchange, joint research, international guest lectures, and international conferences are regularly held to enrich the academic capacity of students and lecturers. Not many people know that over its 24 years of operation, UNPRI has been home to hundreds of foreign students studying in 57 study programs, making UNPRI one of Indonesia's multicultural higher education destinations with complete, modern facilities and a cozy, smoke-free campus atmosphere.
