Signing of Memorandum of Understanding Between Faculty of Law Universitas Prima Indonesia and Medan State Administrative Court
The Dean of FH Unpri, Tommy Leonard, S.H., M.Kn., and the Head of the Medan State Administrative Court (PTUN) Tripeni Irianto Putro, S.H., M.Si., signed the MoU.
The Dean of the Faculty of Law (FH) of the Prima Indonesia University (Unpri) Tommy Leonard, S.H., M.Kn., and the Chairman of the Medan State Administrative Court (PTUN), Tripeni Irianto Putro, S.H., M.Si., signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Monday, November 4, 2011 at the Royal Prima Hospital, Jalan Ayahanda No.68A Medan.
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was attended by the Registrar Secretary of the Medan PTUN, Syamsir Yusfan, S.H., M.H., along with staff in the ranks of the Medan PTUN, Deputy Dean I of the FH Unpri, Theresia Simatupang, S.H., M.Hum., Head of the Law Study Program, Ronald Hasudungan Sianturi, S.H., M.H., Secretary of the Law Study Program Rahmayanti, S.H., M.H., and all lecturers, staff and students of the FH Unpri.
After the signing of the MoU, the Dean of FH Unpri Tommy Leonard, S.H., M.Kn., in his speech said that the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution in paragraph IV states that the State of Indonesia is based on Pancasila which was established to advance public welfare, educate the nation's life, and participate in implementing world order, which is based on independence, eternal peace, and social justice.
On that occasion, Tommy also said that as a prospective Bachelor of Law, he will continue national development and be involved in state administration, and FH Unpri students need to understand the theory and practice of state administrative justice.
Tommy also expressed his gratitude to the Medan State Administrative Court for supporting the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi activities by FH UNPRI and hopefully this Memorandum of Understanding can be followed by various collaborations that provide benefits for the people of North Sumatra, and Indonesia in general and for both institutions in particular.

Meanwhile, the Head of Medan PTUN, Tripeni Irianto Putro, S.H., M.Si., said that the signing of this MoU aims to support the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, "Students of the law faculty must go into the field a lot, especially at PTUN, because the State Administrative Court course requires practice in the field, so that students understand not only the theory but also the practice," he said.
After the signing of the MoU, the Head of the Medan PTUN gave a public lecture with the theme "Mechanism and Process of Handling Lawsuits in the State Administrative Court"
The Dean of FH Unpri, Tommy Leonard, S.H., M.Kn., handed over a souvenir to the Head of the Medan State Administrative Court (PTUN), Tripeni Irianto Putro, S.H., M.Si.
