INAUGURATION OF ROYAL PRIMA HOSPITAL
Deputy Governor of North Sumatra, Ir. H. Tengku Erry Nuradi, M.Si., inaugurated the Royal Prima Hospital Medan, and hopes that Royal Prima will support the realization of international standard hospital services
Sunday, February 16, 2014, the Deputy Governor of North Sumatra (Wagubsu), Ir. H. Tengku Erry Nuradi, M.Si., hopes that the Royal Prima Hospital located on Jalan Abdul Hamid/Ayahanda, Medan, can support the realization of international standard hospital services in North Sumatra.
The event was attended by the Advisor of Universitas Prima Indonesia (Unpri), dr. I Nyoman Ehrich Lister, M.Kes., AIFM, Head of the Daily Executive Board (BPH) Unpri, Tommy Leonard, S.H., M.Kn., North Sumatra Police Chief, represented by Wasis Murjito, Member of the North Sumatra DPRD, Muhammad Faisal, S.E., Coordinator of Kopertis Region I North Sumatra- NAD, Prof. Dian Armanto, M.Pd., M.A., M.Sc., Ph.D., Head of the North Sumatra Provincial Health Office, Head of the North Jakarta District Court, Unpri Rector, Prof. dr. Djakobus Tarigan, AAI, DAAK, Vice Rector I Prof. Dr. drg. Monang Panjaitan, M.S., M.A., Vice Rector II Unpri, Ermi Girsang, SKM, M.Kes, Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Economics Unpri, Hendry, S.E., M.M., Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Medicine Unpri, dr. Ali Napiah Nasution, and Head of Public Relations of Unpri, Ramli J. Marpaung, S.H., M.M.
"We also hope that Royal Prima Hospital can be a mainstay in moving towards Medical Tourism in North Sumatra Province," said T. Erry Nuradi at the inauguration of Royal Prima Hospital.
The Deputy Governor of North Sumatra also expressed his pride because the city of Medan already has a new hospital that is not inferior to other hospitals in North Sumatra. With the existence of Royal Prima Hospital, it is hoped that the people of North Sumatra will no longer go abroad for treatment.
According to the statement of the Chairman of the Association of All Indonesian Hospitals (Persi) for the North Sumatra Region, the foreign exchange flowing from the province of North Sumatra for treatment abroad is estimated to reach 3 to 4 trillion rupiah each year.
On the same occasion, the Deputy Governor of North Sumatra also hopes that Royal Prima Hospital, 30 percent can carry out its social function. "Hopefully we will no longer hear news in the media that poor patients are rejected by Royal Prima Hospital. As mandated by Law No. 44 of 2009 concerning hospitals, the implementation of hospitals is based on Pancasila, and is based on humanitarian values without distinguishing between ethnicity, nation, religion, social status and race, ethical values and professionalism by health workers, values of benefit to humanity in order to maintain and improve health levels, values of justice in providing equitable, quality and affordable health services for all levels of society.
Previously, the Coordinator of Kopertis Region I North Sumatra - NAD, Prof. Dian Armanto, M.Pd., M.A., M.Sc., Ph.D., said that the existence of Royal Prima Hospital provides a glimmer of prosperity for the people of Medan. "The people of Medan no longer need to seek treatment abroad".
Dian Armanto is confident that Royal Prima Hospital is able to provide the best service to patients, in accordance with its name Royal Prima, which prioritizes High Quality.
And Dian Armanto is also sure that Unpri can become the number one university in North Sumatra. Because, at its young age, Unpri already has an international standard hospital with type B.
Meanwhile, the North Sumatra Police Chief represented by Wasis Murjito, hopes that Royal Prima Hospital will accept if the nearest Police sends a patient in an emergency condition.
On that occasion, Unpri Advisor, dr. I Nyoman Ehrich Lister, M.Kes, AIFM, in his speech before the invitees said, in the context of sustainable National Development, a healthy, intelligent, skilled society is needed, mastering science and technology.
To achieve a healthy society, said I Nyoman, in addition to a healthy lifestyle, health facilities are needed, and health workers from various fields of science and levels of education, and community participation is needed.
In relation to this, Unpri is also responsible for supporting the government's program, in filling the need for health workers, by establishing health science faculties, including the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Public Health, Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, and Faculty of Psychology. "All of these faculties have produced alumni," he said.
I Nyoman also added that Unpri is again involved in making the national health system a success, by establishing the Royal Prima Hospital.
This Royal Prima Hospital, said I Nyoman, in addition to having very complete facilities, also has superior health service capabilities, including, among others, better health service quality assurance, and implementing evidence-based medical practices. Then, implementing therapy methods modern with appropriate technology, and the availability of competent medical and paramedical staff, serving fully 24 hours a day.
I Nyoman also mentioned, from the advantages it has, it will result in better treatment and a higher survival rate. "On behalf of the foundation, I hand over the use of the Royal Prima Hospital to the Hospital Director, so that it can be utilized as much as possible for the welfare of the entire community without exception," he said firmly.
