The Faculty of Medicine (FK) of Universitas Prima Indonesia (Unpri), the only Private Medical Faculty in North Sumatra that has its own Teaching Hospital (independent) continues to produce medical graduates who are ready to serve the community. This time, the Faculty of Medicine of Unpri has held a Graduation Ceremony for 27 Medical Bachelors and inaugurated 2 Doctors.
The Graduation Ceremony of the 3rd Batch of Medical Graduates of the Faculty of Medicine, Unpri, and the Doctor's Oath, on Thursday, April 17, 2014, was attended by the Head of the Unpri Advisory Board, dr. I Nyoman Ehrich Lister, M.Kes., AIFM, Head of the Unpri BPH, Dr. Tommy Leonard, S.H., M.Kn., Rector of Unpri, Prof. dr. Djakobus Tarigan, AAI, DAAK, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, dr. H. Yulitas Bachtiar, Sp.A, Head of the Medical Education Unit (MEU) dr. Ali Napiah Nasution, Head of the Supervisory Board of Royal Prima Hospital, dr. Sjahrial R. Anas, M.H.A, Advisor of Unpri, dr. Sofian Wijaya, M.H.A, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Prof. Dr. drg.Monang Panjaitan, M.S.,M.A., Vice Rector II, Ermi Girsang, SKM, M.Kes., Public Relations of Unpri, Ramli J. Dean of FK Unpri, dr. H. Yulitas Bachtiar, Sp.A, said that students who participated in the Judicial Examination had previously completed the academic program and had graduated from making Scientific Papers (KTI).
"After graduation, Unpri Medical Graduates will undergo Clinical Clerkship at Djulham Binjai General Hospital, Medan Mental Hospital and Medan Health Office, starting Monday, April 21, 2014," he said.
dr. H. Yulitas Bachtiar, Sp.A, advised, during the Clinical Clerkship, the Medical Graduates are expected to maintain the good name of FK Unpri, and build relationships with all hospital staff, doctors, paramedics, and administrative staff, as well as possible, thus it is hoped that they will successfully complete the Clinical Clerkship and be able to take the National Doctor Competency Exam later.
Meanwhile, to the newly inaugurated doctors, namely: dr. Jun Meilda Friska Harefa, and dr. M. Chairul Wahyu, the Dean of FK Unpri reminded them that their struggle is not over yet. Because after being inaugurated, they must follow the Intensive Program for about one year.
The Intensive Program is to obtain an Intensive Certificate and obtain a permanent Registration Certificate (STR). Then they can stand alone, whether to continue their education to a Specialist, or other undergraduate programs, or to become civil servants or work privately.
"During the Intensive Program, take good care of the name of FK Unpri, work as well as possible, in accordance with the knowledge that has been obtained at FK Unpri", hoped dr. H. Yulitas Bachtiar.
