UNPRI Declares Full Readiness to Deliver Tangible Innovations
Medan, August 17, 2026 — UNPRI Vice Rector III for Research, Innovation, and Development, Refi Ikhtiari, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D., attended the 81st Independence Day anniversary ceremony of the Republic of Indonesia at the LLDikti Region I Office of North Sumatra on Monday (August 17, 2026). His presence underscored UNPRI's active role as a premier higher education institution advancing alongside the nation.
During the ceremony, the message from the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Prof. Brian Yuliarto, emphasized the Impactful Diktisaintek spirit—urging universities to deliver real solutions to societal challenges through strengthened research and innovation commercialization. Head of LLDikti Region I, Prof. Drs. Saiful Anwar Matondang, M.A., Ph.D., reinforced that academic research must be actively applied within communities rather than confined to library shelves.
Responding to this call, Refi Ikhtiari affirmed UNPRI’s dedication. "UNPRI is fully prepared to champion the impactful campus movement. We are committed to translating our academic research into tangible innovations that directly benefit society," he stated.
