Unpri Gives Awards and Scholarships to Wushu Athlete Students
MEDAN (Portibi DNP): Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) Medan gave awards and scholarships to Wushu athletes Harris Hotarius, with a Gold Medal achievement (student of the Faculty of Law UNPRI, Stambuk 2013) and Wilbert Sanjaya, with a Silver Medal achievement (student of the Faculty of Psychology UNPRI), Stambuk 2016, who excelled at the XIX National Sports Week Event, in West Java some time ago.
The event was attended by the Head of BPH UNPRI Dr Tommy Leonard SH MKn, UNPRI Chancellor Prof dr Djakobus Tarigan AAI DAAK, Vice Chancellor I Seno Aji SPd M Eng Prac, Vice Chancellor II Ermi Girsang SKM MKes, Coordinator of the Rectorate Bureau Chrismis Novalinda Ginting SSiT MKes, Head of the Bureau of Institutional Cooperation and Foreign Relations UNPRI Teng Sauh Hwee SE Msi, Dean of the Faculty of Technology & Computer Science Abdi Dharma SKom MKom, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics Hendry SE MM and UNPRI students.
In addition, UNPRI also gave awards and scholarships to UNPRI students Dina Aggraini, with the achievement as the Winner of the 2016 North Sumatra Language Ambassador, (student of the Faculty of Economics, Stambuk 2014) and Adi Putra Rajagukguk, with the achievement as the Favorite Language Ambassador of North Sumatra 2016, (student of the Faculty of Economics, Stambuk 201), which was held by the Ministry of Education and Culture, Language Center, North Sumatra Province, a few days ago. Then awards and scholarships were also given to Gerry Berca Chandra, a UNPRI student, who excelled in the field of Kendo, with the achievement as 2nd Place in the Medan Kendo Tournament, from the Faculty of Technology & Computer Science, Stambuk 2014.
The five UNPRI students received certificates of appreciation and scholarships directly from UNPRI Founder dr. I Nyoman Ehrich Lister MKes AIFM, Saturday (1/10) in the Multipurpose Room on the 5th floor of Royal Prima Hospital, Jalan Ayahanda Medan. At the Award and Scholarship Awarding Event for Outstanding Students at UNPRI, dr. I Nyoman congratulated the five students who had made UNPRI proud in various competitions.
Dr. I Nyoman said that the achievements that had been achieved were expected to continue to be improved in the future. " Don't be easily satisfied in achieving something, because the environment around us continues to change. What we consider as progress today, tomorrow may be considered outdated by the times, therefore, do not stop trying to improve the achievements that have been achieved, "said the man who is known to be generous convincingly.
"If you do not pursue what you want, then you will not get it. If you do not ask then the answer is no. If you do not move forward, you will remain in the same place. It is good to celebrate success, but the more important thing is to learn from failure, "said Dr. I Nyoman. Dr. I Nyoman hopes that the winners of the competition will hopefully have the achievements that have been carved, will trigger other students, to improve their abilities and achievements.
To all other UNPRI students, Dr. I Nyoman also hopes to further improve their achievements and continue to work, especially in academic and non-academic fields.P08
