Students Can Do Research for Thesis Preparation
UNPRI Faculty of Economics signs cooperation with PT XI Axiata Tbk West Region
In an effort to update information to students, the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) signed a cooperation agreement with PT XI Axiata Tbk West Region held on the campus Jalan Ayahanda Medan. "With this collaboration, we hope that students can improve their understanding in updating the development of information technology towards science and technology," said Dean of FE Unpri, Cut Fitri Rosbna SE MSi, Monday (25/5) after signing the memory of understanding (MoU).
In the agreement, his party will send students for a study visit to PT XL Axiata Tbk Medan and can also conduct research for the sake of compiling a thesis. Meanwhile, Manager of Management Service PT XL Axiata Tbk West Region, Firman AJ accompanied by Corporate Communication Jimmy Oloan Rajagukguk hopes that this collaboration can be improved to other things that are more significant and beneficial, bringing benefits to the university as well as to PT XL Axiata Tbk as a whole.
After the signing of the MoU, the XL future leaders 4 road show was held. Participants who came from students in Medan explained about the program to 150 Unpri students. In the event, students were also explained about how to register. In addition, the benefits obtained by students participating in XL Future Leaders.
"For two years we will learn many things in this program, especially in the fields of Effective Communication, Entrepreneur & Innovation and Managing Change," said one of the XL Future Leader participants, Togar Damanik. He said that they will be mentored by facilitators from abroad and within the country with a curriculum from New Zealand. Once this program is completed, students will have reliable skills in the fields of public speaking, global leadership, entrepreneurship and sensitivity to the surrounding environment which then tries to provide solutions.
In the activity, "in addition to being attended by students, it was also attended by Vice Dean Hendry Wijaya SE MM, Head of the Accounting Study Program, Ivana Nina Esterlin SE MSi, from the Head of the Management Study Program Widya Sari SE MSi, and a number of lecturers and other staff.
