Faculty of Psychology UNPRI Hosts PKKMB to Welcome New Students, Embracing the Theme of Building a Humanist, Adaptive, and Integrated Generation of Psychologists

Equipping New Students with Sociotechnopreneurship Insights, Digital Psychology, and Safe Campus Commitments Alongside the Sexual Violence Prevention Task Force

Medan, September 12, 2026 — The Faculty of Psychology at Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) successfully held its Campus Life Introduction for New Students (PKKMB) at the UNPRI Main Campus Mini Hall on Saturday (Sept 12, 2026). The vibrant event welcomed hundreds of first-semester undergraduate psychology and professional psychology graduate students.

The event was graced by the presence of Faculty of Psychology Dean Dr. Sri Hartini, S.Psi., M.Si., alongside undergraduate and professional program chairs, and permanent faculty members.

Centering on the theme "Building a Humanist, Adaptive, and Integrated Generation of Psychologists," Dean Dr. Sri Hartini introduced the faculty's forward-looking vision: to become a premier center for psychological learning and development excelling in sociotechnopreneurship, producing innovative and internationally competitive graduates by 2030. She emphasized that UNPRI psychology students are trained not only in mental and behavioral sciences but also equipped with practical expertise through psychodiagnostic laboratories and cutting-edge studies in Digital Psychology—addressing modern mental health challenges and digital well-being.

The orientation fostered a warm and collaborative atmosphere through engaging team-building games. Reinforcing UNPRI's dedication to a safe and secure academic environment, the program featured a special briefing by the UNPRI Sexual Violence Prevention and Handling Task Force (PPKS), presented by Dr. Bayu Pratomo, S.S.T., M.P., educating students on academic rights, reporting mechanisms, and mutual respect.
