MIKROTIK ACADEMY
Faculty of Technology & Computer Science Holds Mikrotik Academy Program
MikroTik Academy is a program prepared for the educational path by Universitas Prima Indonesia, Faculty of Technology & Computer Science to study MikroTik Routers which is the result of collaboration with the MikroTik company in Latvia. MikroTik classes will use a lot of computer labs like MikroTik Certification Training and there will be a final exam to measure how far the abilities of students are.
MikroTik is a company located in Riga, Latvia, and was founded in 1996 to develop Computer Routers and Wireless ISP systems. MikroTik currently provides hardware and software to connect the Internet in several countries around the world. In 1997, MikroTik also developed RouterOS software which provides a stable routing system. In addition to RouterOS, in 2002, MikroTik began designing its own hardware with the RouterBOARD brand.
MikroTik Academy aims for students of Universitas Prima Indonesia to be able to adopt the MikroTik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA) curriculum into their teaching and learning activities, so that it will provide added value for students with a focus on computer networks.
Universitas Prima Indonesia, Faculty of Technology & Computer Science was selected to be one of the partners of Mikrotik Academy. This certainly has a positive impact for students majoring in Informatics Engineering, Information Systems and Electrical Engineering to obtain international certificates from Mikrotik easily and at affordable prices.
Students will benefit from the opportunity to gain knowledge in computer networks with RouterOS software and RouterBOARD hardware, as well as to obtain a MikroTik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA) certificate during their academic studies.
