Students of the Faculty of Medicine, Prima Indonesia University, have created a water filter that functions to filter unfit well water into drinkable water.

The creation of the filter was created to help underprivileged people get clean water and as a form of devotion to the lower class.

"It shouldn't be too acidic. So the minimum is 7. But if the good pH is usually eight, it's good for health," said Suandi, Wednesday (8/9/2021).

He also hopes that the filtering method that they socialize to the people of Medan can be useful and provide the community with decent water needs.

According to him, water is a basic human need that deserves to be obtained.

"So we hope that the community can enjoy water that is suitable for drinking and also for consumption. So that the Indonesian people can always be healthy and continue to succeed and progress," he said.
