Graduation Ceremony, UNPRI Students Must Be Creative and Innovative

UNPRI Graduation Period V/2022

Entering its 21st year since its founding in 2001, Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) continues to work to advance education in North Sumatra Province, especially in Medan City.

At the UNPRI graduation period V/2022 at the Jalan Sampul Medan campus, Rector Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting M.Kes said that over time, UNPRI has grown and developed into one of the best universities in North Sumatra.

Development and construction continue to be carried out both in terms of human resources and the construction of infrastructure," said Chrismis, Monday (3/10/2022).

The Chancellor said that UNPRI has taken innovative steps by carrying out reforms in the field of information and communication technology. The development of an information system based on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) has developed various application programs as a manifestation of the existence of an ICT-based information system in supporting the teaching and learning process and integrated university governance.

The Chancellor also added another development, currently UNPRI has a Doctoral Law Study Program and a Bachelor of Architecture Study Program. "It is a matter of pride for the trust given to UNPRI for the opening of these two study programs. Therefore, I invite all alumni who wish to continue their studies to rejoin Unpri," he added.

The first day of graduation which was held on Tuesday (27/9/2022) was attended by UNPRI Founder Prof. Dr. I Nyoman E.Lister MKes AIFM, Head of BPH Dr. Tommy Leonard, SH., M.Kn, WR I Abdi Dharma MKom, WR II Prof. Dr. Ermi Girsang MKes, WR III Said Rizal MA, WR IV Dr. dr. Ali Napiah Nasution MKT, Deputy Chairperson of Law and Advocacy of APTISI I North Sumatra Prof. Dr. Tarmizi SH MHum, deans, lecturers and staff.

Head of General Affairs Faizah Bt Johan Alamsyah MSi representing the Acting Head of the Higher Education Service Institute (LLDikti) of North Sumatra at the second day of graduation, Tuesday (27/9/2022) advised students to be creative and innovative in facing today's world considering that technological advances have changed human lifestyles. In response to this phenomenon, alumni should continue to improve their abilities and skills to be competitive in the world outside campus, namely the world of work. In Johan's view, UNPRI is a campus that continues to develop infrastructure and human resources through the availability of study programs from Bachelor's (S1), Masters (S2) and also Doctoral (S3) programs so that they must always maintain quality.

Meanwhile, the Head of BPH UNPRI Dr. Tommy Leonard, SH., M.Kn stated that UNPRI is fully committed to supporting the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology.

"This is a form of UNPRI's responsibility to the Indonesian nation and state, especially in preparing quality human resources who are competitive in the era of industry 5.0," he said.

The graduates of the 2022 Period V Graduation which was divided into 4 sessions and lasted for two days came from the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, Faculty of Public Health, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Psychology, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Faculty of Technology and Computer Science.
