UNPRI and West Aceh District Government Sign MoU
Cooperation in the Fields of Education, Research, and Community Service
Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) and West Aceh Regency carried out the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Main Campus of Universitas Prima Indonesia, Jalan Sampul Medan. The cooperation is carried out in improving the quality of education and providing health services to the community.
The cooperation includes the implementation of social security programs for all workers in the fields of education, research, community service and improving the quality of Human Resources (HR)
The signing was attended by the Regent of West Aceh Ramli MS, Director of Cut Nyak Dhien Meulaboh Hospital, dr. ilum Anam, Sp.PD, (KGEH), Head of Medical Support Division of Cut Nyak Dhien Meulaboh Hospital Yuliza, STR.Keb staff and ADC of the Regent.
Meanwhile, from UNPRI, the Rector, Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting, M.Kes along with the Vice Rectors, Deans of Faculties, Heads of Institutions and Heads of Bureaus and others were present.
UNPRI Rector Prof. Chrismis explained that the purpose of this activity was to establish cooperation in the fields of education, research and community service. The role of universities must synergize with government and private agencies and contribute to improving human resources.
"We are ready to assist the West Aceh Regency Government in order to realize development in the district through the tridharma of higher education, namely education, research and community service," he said.
West Aceh Regent Ramli MS expressed his gratitude to UNPRI for agreeing to sign an MoU with the West Aceh Regency Government. "This cooperation is very beneficial in realizing development in the region. We hope that this collaboration will benefit both parties," he said.
In a separate place, the Head of BPH UNPRI Dr. Tommy Leonard SH M.Kn, Wednesday (10/8/2022) expressed his appreciation to the West Aceh Regency Government for initiating cooperation with UNPRI.
Tommy hopes that the signing of this MoU will improve good relations between UNPRI and the West Aceh Regency Government, especially in the development of human resources and the tridharma of higher education.
"The foundation will always support the rector and his staff who are trying to improve partnerships with other agencies or institutions in order to improve the quality of students, lecturers and universities," said Tommy.
Meanwhile, the Director of the Cut Nyak Dhien Meulaboh Regional General Hospital, dr. Ilum Anam, Sp.PD-KGEH hopes that the collaboration will be a milestone in developing and continuing the struggle to produce a generation of health workers who are not only beneficial for students, but can also improve services to residents at Cut Nyak Dhien Meulaboh Regional Hospital.
