UNPRI Holds Socialization of MSIB Kampus Merdeka Cycle 5

Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) held an export seminar socialization event and socialization of MSIB (Certified Independent Internship and Study) Kampus Merdeka Cycle 5 with the theme "Becoming a Young Exporter of Indonesia's Future". This event was held at the UNPRI Main Campus Hall, Jalan Sampul 3, Medan City and was attended by around 350 UNPRI academics, including UNPRI Vice Chancellor 1, Abdi Dharma S.Kom., M.Kom, representatives of deans, and bureaus.
The event presented Dr. Handito Joewono as the main speaker. Dr. Handito Joewono is the Chairperson of the Standing Committee for Export Development of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN Indonesia) and the Chairperson of the Membership Development and Export Development Division of the Indonesian Export Companies Association (GPEI).
In his remarks, UNPRI Vice Chancellor 1 said that UNPRI has been very interested in the Export School since the first wave of new student admissions. UNPRI fully supports the Independent Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) program and is committed to producing graduates who not only have academic expertise but also high competence. WR 1 UNPRI hopes that Dr. Handito Joewono at this event can provide useful socialization and provide practical experience in the field to participants.
Dr. Handito Joewono presented material on the mission of the Export School, which is to increase Indonesian exporters. The Export School aims to create new exporters through cooperation that has been built with various parties. Seminar participants will receive material exposure from various aspects of export. In addition, seminar participants are introduced to various learning methods applied in the Export School. During the implementation of the Merdeka Campus Cycle 5, students can take mentoring classes and online learning. For the 5th batch, learning materials can be accessed asynchronously, allowing participants to learn with flexibility.
The export seminar socialization event and the socialization of the MSIB Merdeka Campus Cycle 5 are expected to provide a deeper understanding to the UNPRI academic community about the importance of young exporters in the development of the Indonesian economy. Through this socialization, it is hoped that a young generation will emerge who are ready to face challenges in the export sector in the future and actively contribute to the country's economic growth.
