The Optimization Of Supporting Facilities By Universitas Prima Indonesia Pekanbaru In Providing Practical Laboratories To Hone Students' Psychological Testing And Diagnostic Skills

Pekanbaru, June 29, 2026 — The Bachelor of Psychology Study Program at Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) Pekanbaru, known as the most magnificent private university in Pekanbaru, remains committed to providing quality education through the utilization of modern laboratory facilities. One of its flagship facilities is the Psychology Laboratory, which is divided into an Individual Assessment Laboratory and a Classical Room.

On June 12–13, 2026, both laboratories were successfully utilized as the venue for the Interest and Aptitude Test and Intelligence Test Practicum Exams for Bachelor of Psychology students. This activity aims to develop students' skills in administering, observing, and interpreting various psychological measuring instruments professionally and in accordance with scientific principles.

The Individual Assessment Laboratory is specially designed to support personal psychological examinations in a conducive atmosphere, while the Classical Room is utilized for group test administration to ensure effective practicum execution. Through this practicum, students gain direct experience in applying theory to psychological assessment practice, which serves as an essential foundation for building professional competence in the fields of psychological measurement and individual evaluation.

The Head of the Bachelor of Psychology Study Program stated that the Psychology Laboratory is a manifestation of UNPRI Pekanbaru's commitment to providing learning resources that support the achievement of graduate competencies.
