UNPRI held the 79th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence Day at the Prima Indonesia University (UNPRI) Medan
Medan, The celebration of the 79th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence in 2024 at the Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) Medan is booming. This Independence Day celebration is filled with various unique, interesting activities, entertaining the academic community who participated.
Previously, the Chancellor of UNPRI Medan, Prof. Dr. Crismis Novalinda Ginting, M.Kes, appealed to all Structural and Educational Personnel at Universitas Prima Indonesia to participate in a series of competition activities.
The various activities referred to include Morning Exercise, Table Tennis Competition (mixed doubles), Badminton Competition (mixed doubles), Unique Dress Code Competition (Modern Independence Nuances Fashion Competition, Colonial Independence, Division Cheers, TikTok Video Competition, Guess the Name Competition between Divisions, Typing While Singing Competition, Cracker Eating Competition, and Ball and Box Competition.
The competitions and activities of the 17 August 2024 Independence Day Celebration in the UNPRI environment were carried out according to the competition schedule, including, Badminton Competition and Table Tennis Competition held Monday - Wednesday, 12 - 14 August 2024 at 16.00 WIB - finished at the 10th Floor Hall of the UNPRI Main Campus Building and the Danau Singkarak Campus Hall. The Final Round was held: Friday, 16 August 2024 at 14.00 WIB - finished at the 10th Floor Hall of the UNPRI Main Campus Building Then Morning Exercise and Distribution of Lucky Draw Coupons Friday, 16 August 2024 at 07.30 WIB - finished at the 9th Floor of the UNPRI Main Campus Building. Dress code competition, fashion competition, division cheerleading competition, tik tok video competition, guessing friends' names competition between divisions, typing while singing competition, cracker eating competition and ball and box competition will be held on August 16, 2024 at 10:00 WIB - finished at the 10th Floor Hall of the UNPRI Main Campus Building. Meanwhile, the Lucky Draw distribution will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 15:30 WIB - finished at the 10th Floor Hall of the UNPRI Main Campus Building.
All activities and competitions carried out present the excitement and joy of all participants, be it in sports matches, cracker eating competitions. Especially when the fashion competition was presented during the colonial era and the modern era of independence which attracted a lot of attention from the audience. Participants were very enthusiastic about strutting like catwalk models, receiving applause from other participants and the audience who filled the Main Hall of the UNPRI campus, 10th floor on Jln. Cover No.3 Medan.
"In this celebration of the 79th Indonesian Independence Day, hopefully the joy of the series of activities that have been carried out for the past few days can increase our enthusiasm for independence, and improve the ties of friendship between us, the academic community of Universitas Prima Indonesia. I would like to thank all the committee members who have organized today's event as well as possible. And hopefully for the years to come, this event can be even better and more lively, and provide a more joyful atmosphere for all of us," said the Rector of UNPRI Medan, Prof. Dr. Crismis Novalinda Ginting, M.Kes.
