PUI PT Pain Detection
This research group is dedicated to exploring pain detection mechanisms through biochemical and physiological properties found in blood. The aim is to move beyond subjective self-reporting of pain by establishing measurable, data-driven approaches using blood analysis techniques. The group adopts an interdisciplinary methodology combining medical expertise, biochemistry, and data science to create innovative diagnostic tools for both clinical and research applications.
To develop a reliable, accurate, and objective method of detecting pain through the analysis of biological indicators in blood samples, supporting medical diagnostics and improving patient care.
Identification of pain-related blood biomarkers Integration of biochemical data with machine learning models Development of algorithms for real-time pain detection from blood samples Application of non-invasive or minimally invasive procedures Clinical validation of blood-based pain indicators
