FIK UNPRI Holds PKKMB: 423 New Students Ready to Serve in Healthcare, Welcoming the First Batch of Physiotherapy Students
An Initial Milestone Preparing Ethical Healthcare Leaders.
Medan, September 23, 2026 — The Faculty of Health Sciences (FIK) at Universitas Prima Indonesia successfully held its Campus Life Introduction for New Students (PKKMB) at the 22nd Floor Ballroom of the UNPRI Main Campus on Wednesday (Sept 23, 2026). A total of 423 new students from four study programs were officially welcomed: Public Health, Clinical Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, and the Pharmacist Professional Program.
The event was graced by the Dean of FIK UNPRI, Dr. Santy Deasy Siregar, S.K.M., M.Kes., vice deans, study program heads and secretaries, Academic Administration Bureau (BAA) staff, and faculty members.
This year's PKKMB marks a special milestone as FIK UNPRI proudly welcomes the inaugural batch of the Bachelor of Physiotherapy program, expanding the faculty's footprint in health education.
In her welcoming remarks, the Dean shared an inspiring message to the freshmen. "Welcome to the Faculty of Health Sciences UNPRI. We are committed to producing superior healthcare professionals grounded in ethics and high moral values," stated Dr. Santy, emphasizing that technical competence must be matched by personal integrity.
The event proceeded with an introduction to the faculty leadership and concluded with an inspiring sharing session by alumni and senior students regarding academic journeys and career prospects in the medical field.
