Strategic Collaboration Between UNPRI and the Executive Office of the President to Strengthen Human Resource Policies Toward Golden Indonesia 2045

Realizing policy synergy and human resource capacity development to support the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045.

Medan — Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) organized a Public Lecture themed “Government Policy for Human Resources Towards Golden Indonesia” on Monday, December 8, 2025, held in the Ballroom on the 22nd Floor of the UNPRI Campus, Jalan Sampul No. 3 Medan.

This event was realized through a strategic collaboration between UNPRI and the Presidential Staff Office (KSP), featuring the Acting Deputy III of the Presidential Staff Office of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. Tasdiyanto Rohadi, S.P., M.Si., as the main speaker.

In his presentation, Dr. Tasdiyanto Rohadi conveyed a number of government policy priorities in human resource (HR) development. He emphasized improving the quality of education through learning digitalization, strengthening the competency of educators, and equitable access to higher education. The government is also reinforcing vocational education and job training to align with industrial needs.

In addition, he highlighted the importance of character building and national literacy to form a generation with integrity and a global outlook, as well as the transformation of the health sector to ensure Indonesian HR grows up healthy from an early age.

Furthermore, Dr. Tasdiyanto asserted that Superior Human Resources are the main foundation for realizing Golden Indonesia 2045. The government prioritizes the development of creativity and innovation, mastery of technology and digital skills, strengthening youth leadership, and preparedness in facing global dynamics such as artificial intelligence, the green economy, and the digital economy.

He also encouraged students to play an active role in national development. “Students need to develop future competencies, engage in social activities, research, and innovation, build networks across campuses and industries, and become agents of change who present new ideas and solutions. Indonesia's future heavily relies on the readiness of today's young generation,” he emphasized.

As a form of support for the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision, UNPRI Rector Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting, M.Kes, stated that this public lecture is a form of UNPRI's commitment to supporting the national agenda for HR development towards Golden Indonesia 2045. “This activity is designed to introduce students to the strategic policy direction of the government, strengthen the younger generation's understanding of their role in national transformation, and provide understanding regarding the challenges and opportunities for Indonesia to become a developed country,” she revealed.

A number of participants from various faculties assessed that this activity not only provided insight into national policy but also served as a motivation for students to act as agents of change towards Golden Indonesia 2045.

The participants conveyed that student contribution is highly important in determining the nation's future. The younger generation is expected to possess digital proficiency, critical and creative thinking abilities, adaptability to change, and strong social concern and national awareness.

UNPRI, as a leading campus oriented towards socio-technopreneurship, continues to be committed to producing graduates who are ready to become agents of change towards Golden Indonesia 2045.
