LPPM UNPRI Holds Socialization and Coaching Clinic for 2025 BIMA Research Proposal
Socialization and Coaching Clinic of BIMA 2025 Research Proposal by LPPM UNPRI
LPPM Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) Medan held a Socialization and Coaching Clinic for the 2025 BIMA Research Proposal, Saturday (3/15/2025) March 15, 2025 at the Mini Hall, 10th Floor, UNPRI Campus, Jln. Sampu No. 3 Medan.
Representing the Chancellor, Vice Chancellor 3 UNPRI Refi Ikhtiari, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D opened the event and introduced the speakers and conveyed the background and follow-up after the socialization event, where the Directorate General of Research and Development through the Directorate of Research and Community Service (DPPM) opens Proposal Acceptance for Research and Community Service Programs for Funding in 2025.
“This program aims to support the implementation of the tridharma of higher education, as well as an effort to improve the quality of research and community service. UNPRI fully supports the activities carried out by LPPM, so that it can help lecturers in fulfilling the tridharma of higher education lecturers,” he explained.
The socialization presented a number of speakers, such as Prof. Saharman Gea, Ph.D, Prof. Mohammad Basyuni, S.Hut., M.Sc., Ph.D, and was moderated by Friska Ria Sitorus, S.Pd., M.Ed., PhD, and was attended by 33 lecturers from all study programs and students of the Masters Program and Doctoral Program at Universitas Prima Indonesia.
Prof. Mohammad Basyuni, S.Hut., M.Si in his presentation explained in detail about the research guidelines from the Ministry of Education and Technology in 2025, which are not much different from the research guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2024.
In addition, Prof. Mohammad Basyuni, S.Hut., M.Si explained about the proposal writing scheme which is the criteria for passing or failing research proposals of lecturers and students in doctoral and master's programs.
Prof. Saharman Gea, Ph.D explained that one of the qualities of a university is determined by the research carried out by lecturers. Prof. Saharman Gea, Ph.D explained that the 2025 Kemdiktisaintek research funding should be followed by all lecturers and students, in supporting the reputation of lecturer research as well as the University.
In delivering the material, Prof. Saharman Gea, Ph.D also explained the research scheme that can be followed by lecturers and doctoral and master's program students.
A number of participants, both lecturers and doctoral and master's program students, were very enthusiastic about participating in the research of the Directorate General of Research and Development through the Directorate of Research and Community Service (DPPM). This was evidenced by the lecturers and doctoral and master's program students who asked questions during the socialization and participated in the BIMA 2025 research proposal coaching clinic.
The resource person also explained the material in great detail, Prof. Mohammad Basyuni, S.Hut., M.Si., Ph.D. explained tips and tricks for writing research proposals and guided lecturer and student participants to open the BIMA application and check what research can be followed by lecturers and students. Meanwhile, Prof. Saharman Gea, conveyed the focus of research and what research schemes can be followed by lecturers and students of doctoral and master's programs.
"In addition, he also gave examples of proposal topics that were successfully funded in previous years," said one of the participants from the UNPRI Master's Program students.
Meanwhile, LPPM hopes that by holding the socialization and coaching clinic for the BIMA 2025 Research Proposal, it can provide opportunities and enthusiasm for lecturers and students to be enthusiastic about participating in the selection of Research and Community Service Program Proposal Acceptance for the 2025 Fiscal Year.
Through guidance from the speakers, participants are expected to be able to improve the quality of their proposals and have a greater chance of being accepted and funded by Research and Development through the Directorate of Research and Community Service. (RED/MBB)
