PKPA Committee Chair, Ronald H. Sianturi, S.H., M.H., stated that the next wave of PKPA is planned to be opened at the end of 2013 to accommodate the high enthusiasm of the community.
The Special Education for Advocate Profession (PKPA) Wave II of 2013 held in collaboration with the National Leadership Council of the Indonesian Advocates Association (DPN PERADI) and the Faculty of Law, Universitas Prima Indonesia (FH UNPRI) supported by the Bina Justisia Foundation has been running successfully from September 3, 2013 to September 28, 2013.
PKPA was held at the Dental and Oral Hospital, Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Prima Indonesia located at Jalan Pabrik Tenun No. 103 Medan. PKPA participants were opened by Ronald Sianturi, S.H., M.H. (Head of the Law Study Program, FH UNPRI).
PKPA lecturers come from practitioners and academics who are experienced in their respective fields such as Hasanuddin Nasution, S.H. (Advocate - Secretary General of PERADI), Dr. H. Fauzie Yusuf Hasibuan, S.H., M.Hum. (Advocate – Chairman of KP2AI PERADI), H. Syamsul Bahri Barot, S.H., M.H. (High Judge), Tripeni Isiranto Putro, S.H., M.Si (Chairman of the Medan State Administrative Court), Drs. H. Mohammad Noor Huldrien, S.H., M.H. (Chairman of the Medan Religious Court), Subiharta, S.H., M.Hum. (Judge of the Medan Commercial Court), Dr. Mahmud Mulyadi, S.H., M.Hum., Dr. Mahmul Siregar, S.H., M.H., Dr. T. Keizerina Devi, S.H., M.H., CN (Academic).
The closing of the PKPA was carried out symbolically by Mr. Hasanuddin Nasution, S.H. (Secretary General of PERADI) on September 28, 2013, attended by the Dean of FH UNPRI and his staff and representatives of the Bina Justisia Foundation.
In the event, the Dean of FH UNPRI, Tommy Leonard, S.H., M.Kn., stated that PKPA participants are expected to be able to study and re-read the materials during PKPA. In addition, FH UNPRI plans to facilitate PKPA FH UNPRI participants to practice through the Advocate Professional Exam Try Out so that PKPA participants can be better prepared to face the Advocate Professional Exam.
In the closing ceremony, Mr. Hasanuddin Nasution, S.H. stated to PKPA participants that the key to passing the advocate exam is reading the PKPA materials and discussing the Advocate Professional Exam questions. Therefore, Hasanuddin Nasution, S.H. advised that PKPA participants can continue to study and discuss the questions of the advocate profession exam so that they are ready to face the Advocate Profession Exam. Hasanuddin Nasution, S.H. also hopes that FH UNPRI can facilitate prospective Advocate Profession Exam participants who take PKPA at FH UNPRI or elsewhere to discuss questions through the PKPA Try Out. Thus, the pass rate of the Advocate Profession Exam in the city of Medan shows a high level so that it can improve the percentage of UPA passers in the North Sumatra region.
