TZU CHING UNPRI
The Inauguration Ceremony of the Tzu Chi Student Association, Universitas Prima Indonesia
On Saturday, April 11, 2015, the Tzu Chi Student Association of Universitas Prima Indonesia or known as Tzu Ching UNPRI was inaugurated. Where the students who have joined become the first line of Tzu Ching UNPRI consisting of 16 people. The formation of Tzu Ching UNPRI was initiated by several students of Universitas Prima Indonesia who wanted to form a forum for students at Universitas Prima Indonesia to develop character and concern for the earth and others. In addition, the formation of the Tzu Ching UNPRI community is also an initial step for Tzu Ching Medan to develop into the University environment.

The inauguration of Tzu Ching UNPRI began at 17.30 which was attended by representatives from Universitas Prima Indonesia, namely Mr. Hendry, S.E., M.M. and Mr. Abdi Dharma S.Kom., M.Kom., Mr. Mujianto as the chairman of Tzu Chi Medan, representatives from various clubs at Universitas Prima Indonesia, Tzu Ching Medan mentors, and friends from Tzu Ching Medan. The event was opened by Prayugo as the MC and continued with singing the song Indonesia Raya, Mars UNPRI, and Mars Tzu Ching.
After singing the three songs, it was followed by a welcoming speech from the representative of Universitas Prima Indonesia, namely Mr. Abdi Dharma S.Kom., M.Kom. where he said that the Vision and Mission of Universitas Prima Indonesia and the Vision and Mission of Tzu Ching UNPRI are not different. The establishment of the Royal Prima Hospital is a symbol of its founder that he cares about the health sector and the establishment of Universitas Prima Indonesia is a symbol of concern for the education sector. He hopes that Tzu Ching UNPRI can progress and develop over time.
Next is a welcoming speech from Mr. Mujianto as a representative of Tzu Chi Medan. He thanked Universitas Prima Indonesia for providing an opportunity for UNPRI students to establish a community that crosses races, ethnicities and religions. He shared his experiences at Tzu Chi and hoped that the younger generation would not waste their time and continue to do good. He took a word of reflection from Master Cheng Yen, namely, "There are two things that cannot be postponed in life, namely being devoted to parents and doing good."
The event was continued by Livi as the Chairperson of Tzu Ching Medan giving a welcoming speech and a little of her experience when joining Tzu Ching for the first time. In addition, she also shared the origins of the formation of Tzu Ching until it was in Medan and even at Universitas Prima Indonesia. The beginning of the formation of Tzu Ching started from Taiwan which consisted of several students who were very enthusiastic in carrying out charity missions and wanted to join the ranks of volunteers. Seeing the enthusiasm of a group of students, the Master finally gave his blessing to form a community called Tzu Ching, where this community consisted of young people who were in college. Then in 2003, for the first time Tzu Ching was officially established in the city of Jakarta, until in 2010 Tzu Ching was officially formed in the city of Medan. After 5 years of Tzu Ching Medan's establishment, now Tzu Ching Medan has developed into a university environment.
First Line of Tzu Ching UNPRI
The next session was presented by Diana as the Chairperson of Tzu Ching UNPRI who gave a welcoming speech and introduction about Tzu Ching UNPRI starting from the Vision, Mission, Work Program and Management Structure for the 2015-2016 period. The vision of Tzu Ching UNPRI is "With a compassionate, happy and willing heart, growing knowledge of conscience and improving conscience abilities and fostering today's young generation, and the mission of Tzu Ching UNPRI is to study diligently at school, to be devoted to parents at home and to use free time to actively contribute to society". The work program prioritized by Tzu Ching UNPRI is Environmental Conservation, namely socializing to students, lecturers and the surrounding community about the importance of protecting the earth and the surrounding environment and how to reduce the effects of global warming. In addition to socializing environmental conservation, Tzu Ching UNPRI also carries out direct practice, namely creating a mini depot on campus as a place to sort recycled goods and other environmental conservation activities.

The Handover of the Tzu Ching UNPRI Flag by Mr. Mujianto
After sharing about Tzu Ching UNPRI, Diana also introduced the management structure which was continued with the inauguration and inauguration session of Tzu Ching UNPRI by handing over a decree by a representative of Universitas Prima Indonesia, followed by the handover of the Tzu Ching UNPRI Flag with the Tzu Ching logo and the words Tzu Ching UNPRI as the Relay Baton by the representative of Tzu Chi Medan, Mr. Mujianto. The event continued with the cutting of tumpeng rice by a representative of Universitas Prima Indonesia by handing over the pieces of tumpeng to the head of Tzu Ching UNPRI (Diana) as the first step in carrying out a responsibility. After finishing, it was continued with a group photo.

The inauguration ceremony was closed with the performance of hand signals for the song Satu Keluarga, the distribution of souvenirs from the Chairperson of Tzu Ching UNPRI (Diana) to representatives from Universitas Prima Indonesia and other invited guests and the last one was eat together.
