MEDAN DPRD RECEIVES VISIT FROM UNPRI FAMILY AND ROYAL PRIMA HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT
Faculty of Medicine Demanded to Produce Quality Doctors
Medan DPRD Chairman Henry Jhon Hutagalung, S.H., reminded the management of the Universitas Prima Indonesia Foundation (UNPRI), especially the Faculty of Medicine, to be able to produce reliable and quality doctors. The same goes for the management of the Royal Prima Hospital (RS) to show excellent service. So that the people of Medan are comfortable seeking treatment in Medan, not like so far competing abroad because of the crisis of trust in the quality of doctors in the regions is very low. This affirmation was conveyed by Henry Jhon when receiving the UNPRI Foundation and the management of the Royal Prima Hospital in the leadership room of the Medan DPRD office, Thursday (29/1). The group was followed by the Chairman of the UNPRI Daily Management Board (BPH), dr. Tomy Leonard, S.H., M.Kn., Director of Royal Prima Hospital Dr. Deli Theo, Deputy Director Rosita Ginting, S.E., and Deputy Chancellor I UNPRI Seno Aji, S.Pd., M.Eng., Prac. The visit was received by the Chairman of the Medan DPRD Henry Jhon Hutagalung and the Secretary of the DPRD Mhd Azwarlin Nasution.
Henry Jhon said that he was very concerned about the current condition of doctors and hospitals. The public often complains about the ability of doctors in Medan because they often misread diagnoses. So that residents try to seek treatment abroad even though they have to borrow money, because it has proven effective there. "This is something that the Hospital and the Faculty of Medicine need to address, how to fix it," said this PDIP politician.
To UNPRI and Royal Prima Hospital Management, Henry Jhon advised to prioritize quality and public service. "Don't just win in name, but service must also be improved. If the service is good, the patient's illness will quickly disappear", said Henry Jhon. Previously, the Head of BPH UNPRI, dr. Tomy Leonard, S.H., M.Kn., explained that his party asked for support from the Medan DPRD, especially in the fields of education and health. His party also cares deeply about efforts to improve the quality of education and health services in the city of Medan.
Tomy said that Royal Prima Hospital is one of the providers receiving patients from the Social Security Service Agency (BPJS). For that, it is ready to accept input and good cooperation with the Medan City Government and the Medan DPRD to improve the quality of education and health in the city of Medan. "We will do our best for the public interest", continued dr. Deli Theo.
