PUBLIC LECTURE BY DINO PATTI DJALAL AT UNPRI
Public Lecture "Work Ethic for the 21st Century Generation"
Former Indonesian Ambassador to the United States, Dr. Dino Patti Djalal gave a public lecture at Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) Medan.
"Facing the era of globalization where competition is clearly very tight, the younger generation must not be lazy in anything," said Dino when giving a public lecture. public lecture entitled ‘Work Ethic for the 21st Century Generation’ at the Multipurpose Hall of UNPRI.
The event was attended by UNPRI Founder Dr. dr. I Nyoman Ehrich Lister MKes AIFM, Head of BPH UNPRI Dr. Tommy Leonard SH MKn, UNPRI Rector Prof. Dr. Djakobus Tarigan, Vice Rector I Seno Aji MEng Prac, Secretary of Crismis University Novalinda Ginting, M.Kes, Head of Marketing Division Randy Raharja, SE and Head of UNPRI Secretariat Bureau Christin Agustina Purba.
In front of the UNPRI students, Dino, who is also the Founder of the Indonesian Foreign Policy Community, emphasized the importance of the younger generation to be able to prepare themselves to face extreme changes in today's global competition, both as workers or as young entrepreneurs.
On that occasion, the understandings and stories about how he served as the Indonesian Ambassador to America, to his experience as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, further inspired the event that lasted until the afternoon.
"We can take an example from the Japanese nation which has an ethos extraordinary work, so that their economy is on par with developed countries in Europe and America," said the Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Indonesian Diaspora Network.
A country, said Dino, really needs a young generation figure who can accelerate the wealth of knowledge and materials, so that it can lead the country to unexpected success.
From the journalists' monitoring, the enthusiasm of UNPRI students was also seen to be extraordinary with many good questions filling the final session of the lecture that afternoon.

Meanwhile, in a separate place, the Chairman of BPH UNPRI Dr Tommy Leonard SH MKn told reporters, This public lecture provides an opportunity for students at UNPRI to get to know and be closer to successful figures who have attended and will attend the next public lectures.
"Public lectures like this have indeed become a routine program of UNPRI," said Dr. Tommy Leonard to reporters, Sunday (3/28).
According to this North Sumatra education figure, this public lecture is a proactive form in improving the quality of students, so that students are expected to gain field knowledge, based on the experience of successful figures in Indonesia and abroad.
Tommy also mentioned that some time ago, UNPRI presented the Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasona Laoli to discuss the legal field in Indonesia.(dev)
