Dean of FKIP UNPRI, Dian Syahfitri SS M.Hum told reporters, Saturday (27/5) that Winro's success was inseparable from hard work and praying to God Almighty. In addition, said Dian, all of it was also thanks to the full support of the family and all UNPRI academics, which became a special encouragement for Winro E.M. Tamba, to make the best achievement for the good name of UNPRI in North Sumatra.

"This annual competition from the North Sumatra Language Center is designed to get Language Ambassadors who have balanced intelligence, between IQ, EQ, and SQ," said Dian who was also the Language Ambassador for North Sumatra Province in 2008. So, said Dian, it is not surprising that various test categories; paper presentation, Indonesian Language Proficiency Test (UKBI) to personality interviews must be passed by all participants. In a separate place, the Head of BPH UNPRI Dr Tomy Leonard SH MKn, expressed his pride in the achievement achieved by Winro E.M. Tamba. According to Tommy, this is proof that UNPRI Medan, in addition to guaranteeing the quality of education. UNPRi also contributes to the achievements of North Sumatra Province. All achievements made by students, said Tommy, will receive appreciation from the campus, including to support Winro's success at the national level in October 2017 in Jakarta. As is known, the selection of the 2017 North Sumatra Provincial Language Ambassador was held from 18 to 24 May 2017. This year, more than 150 participants, both students from almost all PTN/PTS throughout North Sumatra Province, and the general public registered as participants. However, after passing various tests, including presentations on ideas or concepts about language, only 20 male and female finalists were entitled to enter the peak night. The peak night of the 2017 North Sumatra Provincial Language Ambassador Selection, was titled 'Beautiful because of Language'. At the peak of the event, the jury determined 10 male and 10 female finalists and in the next round they were required to answer questions randomly drawn by the committee. This was the most decisive round because none of the finalists knew the questions that would be given and their answers became the final assessment for the six judges.

Finally, after going through a very tough deliberation, for the male category, the jury determined Winro Eko Marius Tamba as the 2017 North Sumatra Provincial Language Ambassador and for the female category it was won by Yunita Marpaung from the University of North Sumatra (USU). Furthermore, both of them will be intensively given supplies and various preparations at the North Sumatra Language Center to take part in the 2017 National Language Ambassador Selection which will be held in October in Jakarta.
