Four Universities and TRC Hold CESIT 2020 International Conference
Four universities in Indonesia and internationally held the International Conference on Cultural Heritage, Education, Sustainable Tourism, and Innovation Technologies (CESIT 2020) on September 17, 2020.
The universities are Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI), Padjadjaran University, Pusan National University, Republic of Korea, University of North Sumatra, Medan State University, and the Toba Research Center (TRC) research center.
The virtual international conference began with remarks by the Chair of the Committee Arjon Turnip, Ph.D, Chair of IEEE Indonesia Section CSS/RAS Joint Chapters and also director of TRC and continued by Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting, M.Kes, Rector of UNPRI.
CESIT started at 08.00 WIB followed by very enthusiastic participants, proven since it was officially opened, the number of participants reached one hundred and seventy-four participants.
Arjon himself admitted that almost 99% of participants made presentations and after making presentations, participants continued to follow the activities until the end and did not decrease significantly.
"I also think it is a proud thing because participants and even keynote speakers who come from abroad have a fairly long time difference with Indonesia are willing to wake up earlier and follow the activities from the beginning," explained the Chairperson of the CESIT Committee.
