UNPRI and Unissula Establish Cooperation
Signing of Memorandum of Understanding
On Tuesday, June 6, 2023, Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sultan Agung Islamic University (Unissula) Semarang. The event was held at the UNPRI Main Campus, Jalan Sampul No. 3, Medan City.
This collaboration aims to strengthen the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education in the fields of education, research and community service.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. H. Gunarto, SH, MH as the Chancellor of Sultan Agung Islamic University conveyed the plan to open the Eye Specialist and Internal Medicine Specialist Study Programs at Unissula. "We plan to open the Eye Specialist and Internal Medicine Specialist Study Programs this year. Because all the infrastructure and human resources are also ready. This visit to Universitas Prima is important to learn from the experience of establishing a Specialist Doctor Education Program," he said.
This was conveyed by the Professor of the Faculty of Law, Unissula during a working visit to UNPRI Medan, as a private university on Sumatra Island that is trusted by the government to organize the Primary Care Family Doctor and Radiology Specialist Program
Vice Chancellor IV of Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI), Dr. dr. Ali Nafiah Nasution MKT, enthusiastically welcomed the visit from Sultan Agung Islamic University (Unissula) and offered cooperation in sharing experiences related to the opening of the Specialist Study Program.
Dr. dr. Ali Nafiah Nasution MKT stated, "We are open and ready to share experiences regarding the opening of the Specialist Doctor Education Program." He also acknowledged the importance of collaboration between universities in developing quality medical education programs. With the exchange of knowledge and experience between UNPRI and Unissula, it is hoped that it can enrich the specialist medical study programs offered by both universities.
Also present were parties from Sultan Agung Islamic University, Prof. Dr. H. Gunarto, SH, MH as the Chancellor of Sultan Agung Islamic University, Andre Sugiono, PhD as the Vice Chancellor of Sultan Agung Islamic University, Dr. dr. Setyo Trisnadi SH SpKF as the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Hj. Anis Mashdurohatun, SH, M.Hum as the Head of the Doctoral Program in Law, Prof. Dr. Hj. Sri Endah Wahyuningsih, SH, M.Hum as Secretary of the Doctoral Program in Law, Erna Sunarti, S.Pd, M.Hum (Doctoral Program in Law), Dr. Nanang as Secretary of the Master of Notary Study Program, dr. Hadi, dr. Naili, SpN, dr. Retno W, SpPD, and dr. Atik, SpM.
Meanwhile, Universitas Prima Indonesia was represented by Vice Rector I, Abdi Dharma, S.Kom.,M.Kom, Vice Rector 3 Said Rizal, S.H.I., M.A and Vice Rector IV UNPRI Dr. dr. Ali Nafiah Nasution MKT along with the Deans of Faculties and staff at Universitas Prima Indonesia.
