UNPRI Lecturer Receives BRIN Grant
Improving the Quality of UNPRI Research
The implementation of research and studies is one of the important aspects in the university environment. Lecturers from Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) have successfully obtained a research grant from the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) based on the Decree of the Deputy for Research and Innovation Facilitation of the National Research and Innovation Agency Number 37/II.7/HK/2023 concerning Recipients of the Research and Innovation Program for Advanced Indonesia Wave 4.
Vice Chancellor II of UNPRI, Prof. Dr. Ermi Girsang, M.Kes, M.Biomed., AIFO, was selected as the recipient of the Research and Innovation Scheme for Advanced Indonesia grant in the Health Focus Field of the National Research and Innovation Agency. The research topic raised is "Salmon DNA Serum, Bengkuang Extract, Rosella, Soybeans, and Pineapple Standardized by BPOM to Prevent and Inhibit Premature Aging." Prof. Dr. Ermi Girsang, M.Kes, M.Biomed., AIFO, serves as the chief researcher with members from various institutions, namely Dr. Mathelda Weni Haryanti (Maranatha Christian University), Prof. Dr. Teresa Liliana Wargasetia, S.Si, M.Kes (Maranatha Christian University), Dr. ret.nat. Deni Rahmat., M.Si, Apt (Pancasila University), and Dr. Marisca Evalina Gondokesumo, M.H., M.Farm-Klin., Apt. (Surabaya University).
Furthermore, two lecturers from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) UNPRI, namely Dian Syahfitri, S.S., M.Hum, and Sartika Sari S.S., M.Hum, have won a research grant for the Research and Innovation Scheme for Advanced Indonesia Expedition (RIIM Expedition) Multi-years from the National Research and Innovation Agency in 2023. The topic of the proposal submitted is "Exploring Local Values Towards a Global Mission: Implementation of Education for Sustainable Development Society (ESDS) Through Preservation of Oral Literature in the North Sumatra Region," with Prof. Dr. Khairil Ansari, M.Pd (State University of Medan) as the head of the research.
The Research and Innovation Program for Advanced Indonesia (RIIM) is a collaboration between the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) and the Education Fund Management Institute (LPDP) with the aim of providing research funding to institutions to carry out activities to search for novelty in science and technology that has the potential to be further developed by stakeholders, with the aim of implementing the results of the research.
All of these achievements certainly further enrich UNPRI's performance, especially in the field of Research and Research.
