UNPRI Student Wins Runner Up for Putra Putri Nusantara Tourism 2023.
The inspiration and unstoppable spirit of the talented student, Hilda Karolina, emerged as the main highlight in the prestigious event, Putra Putri Pariwisata Nusantara 2023. This representative from North Sumatra managed to amaze the jury and the audience with her charm, and finally won second runner-up title in a competition held in Jakarta recently.
Hilda, a dedicated student from Universitas Prima Indonesia, has proven herself as a potential Indonesian tourism ambassador. The 2023 Putra Putri Kopi Indonesia event is her stage to showcase her vision and determination in promoting the beauty and richness of Indonesian tourism.
In addition to her busyness in the world of contests, Hilda is an outstanding student at UNPRI majoring in Clinical Pharmacy. She is also active as a model and volunteer. Her enthusiasm in various aspects of life, including being a presenter, a fashion show hobby, playing basketball, and traveling the world, makes Hilda a role model for the young generation who are passionate about realizing their dreams and contributing to their homeland.
By successfully entering the Top 5 contestants, Hilda not only makes herself proud, but also her family, friends, and even people she doesn't know. "This achievement brings me happiness because I am able to bring the name of my province to the national stage and give a new title to my own province," Hilda said sincerely.
Hilda's journey in the world of beauty pageants began in 2020. Each stage of the competition was an opportunity for her to continue learning and developing. This year, Hilda was trusted by the El John Indonesia Foundation to win the second runner-up position in the 2023 Putra Putri Pariwisata Nusantara event.
Hilda humbly thanked God for the blessings given to her. She also appreciated the El John Indonesia Foundation for providing an extraordinary opportunity for the young generation of Indonesia to develop and learn through this competition. Hilda also did not forget to thank the Eljohn Indonesia team consisting of various parties, including Daddy and the committee involved. "The guidance, direction, and friendliness that I received during this event will always be a precious memory like family," said Hilda.
Behind her success, the support of her family, the North Sumatra Tourism Office, friends, and sponsors also played an important role. In her statement, Hilda sincerely admitted that without their support, she would not have been able to achieve this much.
More than just a title, Hilda has a noble goal. She wants to create an organization that invites the young generation of Indonesia to contribute to improving tourism in the country. The plan is for this organization to hold monthly activities such as visits to tourist destinations and cooperation with local residents to maintain the cleanliness of the destinations.
Not only that, Hilda also aspires to provide motivation to school students, as well as share happiness with children in orphanages. This vision is in line with the image of "Wonderful Indonesia" which is rich in natural and cultural charm. Hilda views that Indonesian tourist destinations such as Lake Toba have amazing appeal.
