Four UNPRI International Conferences 2025 Held Simultaneously with Participation from 8 Countries, Promoting Cross-Disciplinary International Research Collaboration
UNPRI Strengthens Global Academic Networks: Multidisciplinary Synergy Toward Innovation, Digital Transformation, and Sustainable International Development



Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) officially opened the series of Joint International Conferences 2025 on Monday (10/11/2025) at the Main Hall on the 10th Floor of the UNPRI Campus, Jalan Sampul No. 3 Medan Petisah. Four prestigious international conferences (ICOLIFEMED, ICEBesMA, IFPLE, and ICTIDE) will run until November 14, 2025.
The conference opening was marked by an official address delivered virtually by Prof. Apt. I Ketut Adnyana, M.Si., Ph.D., Director of Research and Community Service at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, followed by remarks from the UNPRI Rector, Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting, M.Kes., AIFO-K., and Prof. Drs. Saiful Anwar Matondang, MA., Ph.D.
Global Commitment and Participation of National Figures
In her speech, the UNPRI Rector expressed appreciation to the committee and welcomed all international delegates from participating countries, the foundation, and the attending academic community. She affirmed that organizing this international conference is a form of UNPRI's commitment to strengthening its academic reputation at the global level toward becoming a "World Class University".
The year 2025 saw the attendance of several national figures, both online and offline, including: Minister of Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia, Natalius Pigai; Advisor to the President of the Republic of Indonesia for Health Affairs, Letjen TNI (Purn.) Prof. Dr. dr. Terawan Agus Putranto, Sp.Rad (K); and Vice Minister of Hajj and Umrah Affairs, Dr. Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak; along with scientists and academics from Australia, China, Japan, Turkey, Malaysia, Madagascar, India, and Indonesia. On this occasion, the UNPRI Rector reported that this year's conference features 405 papers, 57 scientific posters, and is attended by 3,100 participants.
Appreciation and Support from Higher Institutions
Meanwhile, Prof. Apt. I Ketut Adnyana, M.Si., Ph.D., in his speech, gave high appreciation to UNPRI for its consistency in organizing international-level scientific forums that bring together intellectuals, academics, and researchers across nations. He emphasized the importance of integrity, collaboration, and research continuity in answering global challenges in health, technology, environment, and education, and encouraged the conference results to serve as a reference for the government in making research-based policies.
On the same occasion, Prof. Drs. Saiful Anwar Matondang, MA., Ph.D., conveyed the appreciation and support of LLDIKTI Region I North Sumatra for the successful execution of UNPRI's international conference, which managed to present international speakers physically (offline). He considered this activity an extraordinary achievement for UNPRI, as well as a manifestation of seriousness in strengthening the global academic network and encouraging research innovation, especially UNPRI's internationalizing medical field. He also expressed hope that this activity could open opportunities for new research funding and sustained collaboration for UNPRI.
Event Series and Long-Term Vision
The conference opening was attended by the Chairman of the UNPRI Daily Supervisory Board, Prof. Dr. Tommy Leonard, SH., M.Kn., and the leadership ranks of UNPRI's network hospitals and honored guests from other campuses such as Universitas Riau and Telkom University. The event was enlivened by performances of North Sumatran arts and culture and entertainment presented by students of the excellent and socio-technopreneurship campus, UNPRI.
Following the ceremonial session, participants had the opportunity to view the exhibition of scientific posters resulting from research by international lecturers and students. The first day's series continued with a visit to Royal Prima Hospital as UNPRI's main teaching hospital, as well as a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with several participating universities.
UNPRI's international conference—the socio-technopreneurship campus which is currently institutionally accredited as Excellent—is a strategic scientific forum that inspires, bringing together experts to present research results, exchange knowledge, and build cross-disciplinary collaboration. This agenda is designed as a platform for strengthening global academic cooperation networks and scientific contributions that impact the development of science and long-term solutions to social and global issues.
2025 is an important momentum for UNPRI, coinciding with the increase in its international position and recognition, including UNPRI's success in breaking into the QS Asia University Rankings (QS AUR) 2026.
