UNPRI Students Do Internship in Media Delegation
Two Field Supervisor Lecturers (DPL) for internship students at Universitas Prima (Unpri) Medan monitored the implementation of the internship at the Mediadelegasi Editorial Office, Friday (20/10), evening on Jl Seibatanggadis Medan. The arrival of the two DPLs, Mardi Turnip SKom MKom who is also Vice Dean I and Dhanny Rukmana ST MT Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Science and Technology Unpri Medan were warmly welcomed by the Owner of Mediadelegasi, Ir Mandalasah Turnip SH and students who had carried out a month-long internship at PT Media Delegasai Nusantara Legal Entity Publisher mediadelegasi.id.
Both Mardi Turnip and Dhanny Rukmana asked for input and information related to student discipline and creativity during their internship at Mediadelegasi in order to direct the Semester V students to be more careful in understanding the world of work. "This internship is a means of introducing the world of work after students understand the theory from the knowledge gained on campus or in class," said Mardi Turnip.
He also reminded students not to be free from communication ethics behind the knowledge of the information system being studied. "We hope that the internship mentoring team from Mediadelegasi will never get tired of spurring or triggering the creativity of the interns," said Mardi Turnip while reminding the interns to always maintain the good name of their alma mater.
In line with Mardi Turnip, Dhanny Rukmana also reminded the students to be aggressive and proactive in understanding the world of work. "I think there is a lot that can be created in the process of displaying information on mediadelegasi that uses technology or digitalization," said Dhanny. Dhanny also advised students to actively provide information about the progress of their students' internships, so that they can be used as input and evaluation materials in the future.
Previously, Ir Mandalasah Turnip SH said that his party continues to strive to provide guidance so that students gain experience from the internship at the mediadelegation. "This student internship service is the third year period, so we are trying to achieve better results than the previous two batches," said Mandalasah Turnip.
According to him, intense communication is still carried out between the guidance team and the interns, so that a means of exchanging knowledge is created from the students in the information production process at Mediadelegasi. Just to note, the third batch of Unpri students from the Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology, at Mediadelegasi consists of ten people, namely, B Intan Sari Zamili, Vito Reylukito Sijabat, M Iyan Syahfitrah Lubis, Febriaman Zendrato and Arif Cardoni Duha. Then, Ridho Lukas Fertomedis, Muhammad Rusdi Batubara, Predho Pelawi, Windy Afriyanti Panjaitan and Bobby Hadianta Ginting.
