Dean of FKKGIK Receives Outing Class Group for Clinical and Community Pharmacy Skills Program at As Syifa Kisaran Vocational School

Medan - Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences (FKKGIK) Prof. Dr. Dr. H. Gusbakti Rusip, M.Sc., Sp.KKLP (K)., PKK., AIFM., AIFO-K, received an outing class visit from the As Syifa Kisaran SMKS Clinical and Community Pharmacy Skills Program group, led by the SMKS Principal As Syifa Kisaran, Rahmad Ferdiansyah AMK., SM, Monday (11/11/2024).

This outing class activity took place on the 15th floor of the UNPRI campus from 08.30 to 12.00 WIB, starting with an opening ceremony, group photos, exchanging souvenirs, followed by a practicum in the sterile preparation technology and pharmaceutical preparation technology laboratories, which ended with a roadshow to all laboratories. The entire event was hosted by Keytrin Amazihono, a VII semester clinical pharmacy student who was selected as Ms. UNPRI 2024.

In his speech, the Dean of FKKGIK said that this kind of activity really helps students to determine their choices after graduating. "Currently, the Bachelor of Clinical Pharmacy Study Program together with the Pharmacist Study Program are still under FKKGIK, but in the future it will be separated into a separate Faculty," he said.

Meanwhile, the Principal of SMKS As Syifa Kisaran, expressed his gratitude for the welcome from the Clinical Pharmacy Study Program in this outing class activity, and hopes that collaboration like this can be increased, especially now that there are several alumni studying at UNPRI Clinical Pharmacy .

Separately, Head of the Clinical Pharmacy Undergraduate Study Program, apt. Razoki, S.Si., M.Kes., M.Biomed., M.H, said that the aim of this activity was to introduce more closely the facilities and infrastructure as well as the lecture system and curriculum in the Clinical Pharmacy Study Program.

This event was attended by Deputy Dean I Dr.dr.Linda Chiuman, MKM., M.Biomed, lecturers and clinical pharmacy staff Reh Malaem Br. Karo, S.Sc., M.Sc., apt. Astriani Natalia Br. Ginting, M. Biomed and Helmi Andyani Nasution, S. Farm. as well as the Head of the Depyanto Sitanggang Laboratory, S.Si and other laboratory assistants, including Dinda Ayu Salsabila, S.Farm. who is also an UNPRI Clinical Pharmacy alumnus. Meanwhile, from As Syifa Kisaran Vocational School, teachers and staff were also present, including Nurhalimah, S.Pd., Fauziah Rahma, S.Farm and Mrs. Lisa Arraufah, S.Kom.

"Hopefully in the future we will go to Kisaran to carry out Community Service, in collaboration with SMKS As Syifa by involving SMKS As Syifa alumni students, especially those in the Clinical Pharmacy Study Program," concluded Razoki.
