FKKGIK UNPRI Successfully Holds Socialization of Indonesian Health Council Rules and Policies

Medan, FKKGIK Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI), successfully held a Socialization of the Rules and Policies of the Indonesian Health Council, which was held Monday (25/11/2024) at the UNPRI Main Campus, Jln. Sampul No. 3 Medan, attended by approximately 500 people participants.

The socialization presented Drg Arianti Anaya as Chair of the Indonesian Health Council, and Ana Kurniati., Ph.D as Director of Health Personnel Utilization at the Indonesian Ministry of Health. This activity was guided by Dr. Dr. Irza Haicha Pratama., M.K.M., AIFO-K as moderator.

According to the Dean of FKKGIK UNPRI, Prof. Dr. dr. H. Gusbakti Rusip., M.Sc., PKK., AIFM., Sp.KKLP(K), this activity is a public lecture related to policy and from the Indonesian Health Council, which oversees the collegium related to health workers and personnel in Indonesia.< p>

According to the Dean of FKKGIK UNPRI, the aim of holding activities to update knowledge and information about policies from the Indonesian Health Council, is as preparation for prospective health workers and medical personnel.

In this activity, plans for curriculum development and additional competency for Indonesian medical and health workers were discussed. Such as the curriculum for nurse anesthetists and orthopedic nurses.

He added that the socialization of plans and policies is also related to the Competency Examination for Medical Personnel and Health Personnel, which is planned to be the responsibility for implementing education and collegiums, socialization regarding job opportunities for medical and health personnel in the regions and abroad, socialization related to the Internship Program Indonesian Doctor and Indonesian Dentist Internship Program, regarding placement according to the Family Card domicile algorithm. "He expressed the hope that good communication with KKI would further facilitate the education process and preparation of prospective graduates in entering the world of work," he concluded.

A number of participants who took part in this activity said they were very impressed with the two materials provided, and this became motivation for them to immediately complete their professional education. The participants hope that in the future there will be more frequent outreach as information updates for students.
