UNPRI Holds Oath-Taking Ceremony for 13 Dentists
The Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) held an Inauguration and Oath-Taking Ceremony for Dentists, Saturday (29/6/2024) at 09.30 WIB until finished in the VIP Room on the 22nd Floor of the Main Campus of Universitas Prima Indonesia.
Before the inauguration and oath-taking ceremony of the dentists began, a prayer was first read, so that the inauguration and oath-taking ceremony of the doctors could run smoothly. Then the Deputy Dean I of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, Universitas Prima Indonesia, Dr. dr. Linda Chiuman, M.K.M read the Announcement of UKMP2DG Results for the names that have been declared PASSED by the National Committee for the Dentistry Professional Program Student Competency Test (PNUKMP2DG) with Decree Number No.137/KEP/UKMP2DG/VI-2024 on Friday, June 21, 2024.
A total of 13 prospective dentists who were inaugurated by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences have completed a study period of 5 semesters, and were declared PASSED in the Dentistry Professional Program Student Competency Test (UKMP2DG), will recite the doctor's oath witnessed by religious leaders from each religion they adhere to.
Then the signing of the doctor's oath was carried out by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, three Religious Leaders and Prospective Dentists. The religious leaders invited to the event were Islamic Religious Leader H. Arifin, S.Ag., MH., Protestant Christian Religious Leader Erapparnenge Tenta Manik, S.Th, M.Pd and Buddhist Religious Leader Juli, S.Ag., M.Pd. With the recitation of the dental oath by 13 prospective dentists, it has been LEGALLY granted to 13 prospective dentists to be entitled to hold the title of dentist (drg.)
After the oath had been read, the next event was filled with entertainment, featuring Duo R (Rona and Rovita) performing the song "Friends Forever". After the performance by Dou R, one of the representatives of the dentists who had been inaugurated, namely drg. Nguyen Phuc Gia Bao gave a welcoming speech. The representative of the parents of the dentist alumni, namely drg. Tunggul Sitanggang, MARS gave a welcoming speech, then continued by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, Universitas Prima Indonesia, giving a welcoming speech containing a message to 13 dentists, to maintain the good name of the alma mater and be able to apply the knowledge gained during their education.
The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, Universitas Prima Indonesia, Prof. Dr. dr. H. Gusbakti Rusip, M.Sc., Sp.KKLP(K)., PKK., AIFM., AIFO-K), Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, Universitas Prima Indonesia, Head of Study Programs from the Undergraduate Dentistry Study Program and the Dentistry Professional Education Study Program, Secretary of Study Programs from the Undergraduate Dentistry Study Program and the Dentistry Professional Education Study Program, lecturers who teach prospective dentists during their dental professional education, Director of the Prima Dental and Oral Hospital (Mrs. Florenly, MHSM., MPH), Islamic Religious Leaders (H. Arifin, S.Ag., MH.), Protestant Christian Religious Leaders (Erapparnenge Tenta Manik, S.Th, M.Pd) and Buddhist Religious Leaders (Juli, S.Ag., M.Pd).
In addition, it was also attended by a number of invited guests, such as the Founder of Universitas Prima Indonesia (Prof. Dr. dr. I Nyoman Ehrich Lister, M.Kes., AIFM., Sp.K.K.L.P.), Chairman of the Prima Indonesia University Foundation (Djulim, S.K.M., M.K.M), Daily Executive Board of Prima Indonesia University (Prof. Dr. Tommy Leonard, S.H., M.Kn), Chancellor of Prima Indonesia University (Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting, M.Kes), Vice Chancellor of Universitas Prima Indonesia (Abdi Dharma, M.Kom., Prof. Dr. Ermi Girsang, M.Kes., M.Biomed., AIFO., Dr. Said Rizal, S.H.I., M.A., Dr. dr. One of the prospective dentists is a foreign student, namely from Vietnam, so on that occasion the committee also invited special guests from Vietnam, namely The Program Director of McGann International School of Dentistry (Mr. Miles McGann), The Head of Department of International Medical and Dental Education Program of Universitas Prima Indonesia in Vietnam (Dr. Vo Phu Cuong), The Head of Representative Office of Universitas Prima Indonesia in Vietnam (Dr. Ho Mong Thuy Duong), CEO of Y Company (Dr. Ngo Tuan Anh), Our Honor Guest from Vietnam (Dr. Nguyen Thi Yen Nhi), as well as the parents of each prospective dentist, and especially the 13 prospective dentists who will be inaugurated.
