FK UNPRI GRADUATES
A Total of 98 Unpri Medical Graduates Graduating
Cheerful faces were seen adorning the faces of 98 participants of the Faculty of Medicine (FK) Universitas Prima Indonesia (Unpri) graduation ceremony, Wednesday (8/4) which was the 4th batch of doctor profession graduation. This activity took place in the Multipurpose Room, 5th Floor, Royal Prima Hospital, Jalan Ayahanda Medan.
The 4th Batch of FK Unpri Bachelor of Medicine Graduation Ceremony was attended by the Head of Unpri Advisory Board, dr. I Nyoman Ehrich Lister, M.Kes., AIFM., Head of BPH Unpri, Dr. Tommy Leonard, S.H., M.Kn., Rector of Unpri, Prof. dr. Djakobus Tarigan, AAI., DAAK., Dean of FK Unpri, dr. H. Yulitas Bachtiar, Sp.A, Deputy Dean I of FK Unpri dr. Ali Napiah Nasution, Vice Rector II, Ermi Girsang, SKM, M.Kes., and lecturers of FK Unpri.
The Head of Unpri Advisory Board, dr. I Nyoman Ehrich Lister, M.Kes., AIFM, congratulated the young doctors who had just been inaugurated and thanked the rector and his staff who had worked together to help smooth the teaching and learning process at FK Unpri.
dr. I Nyoman said that these 98 Medical Graduates will be sent to four hospitals, namely Bayangkara Hospital, Mental Hospital, Zulham Binjai Hospital and Royal Prima Hospital, to take part in Koas (General Practitioner Professional Education). It should be noted that at the Koas stage, the most important thing is ethics.
On the same occasion, dr. I Nyoman advised that young doctors placed in the hospital, during their internship, must maintain good manners and ethics, and maintain the good name of FK Unpri.
Dr. I Nyoman also mentioned that FK Unpri is the only private medical faculty in North Sumatra that has its own teaching hospital (independent) which continues to produce medical graduates who are ready to serve the community.
"Everything that is done during internship must be under the supervision of a supervising doctor. However, behind that, young doctors are also required to have professionalism like independent doctors," he said, while advising that young doctors should also be careful when injecting patients, so that the needle does not hit their hands.
Meanwhile, the Dean of FK Unpri, dr. H. Yulitas Bachtiar, Sp.A added that there are several stages that must be passed when a medical student wants to complete his studies to get a doctor's degree.
The first stage, said Dr. Yulitas, is the stage of completing the Strata 1, Bachelor of Medicine. Then the second stage is the Clinical Clerkship stage at the Teaching Hospital, to obtain a professional doctor's degree. "Hopefully the young doctors who are inaugurated today can become dedicated and responsible doctors in the future and can bring honor to the name of FK Unpri," he said.
