FE Unpri Invites Students to Explore Entrepreneurial Potential
"Creative and Energetic Entrepreneurs" was held at the Selecta Ballroom Building
For the sixth time, the Faculty of Economics (FE) of Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI)-"held a national seminar. Through this activity, students are invited to be creative and explore their potential from an early age in order to achieve success at a young age.
The activity carried the theme "Creative and Energetic Entrepreneurs" held at the Selecta Ballroom Building, last weekend. Three speakers appeared, namely Irwan Wiseful Berutu, a motivator, author and entrepreneur, then Jansen Sinamo, an Indonesian ethos teacher and Daniel Mananta who is a host and young entrepreneur.
In front of approximately 2000 participants, lecturers and students, Irwan Wiseful Berutu said, when you fail, never stop trying and trying again. "To become an entrepreneur, you must have a high fighting spirit. Life is a struggle. Whoever acts quickly will win the competition," he said.
He also reminded that to become an entrepreneur, you have to find new things, especially on campus. Therefore, he asked students to start thinking creatively. Because, according to him, what is learned in school will be different from what is found in the field.
According to him, there are many ways to find your potential. Start by reading books, according to your hobbies and reading positive books. He reminded students to think creatively. Because in every problem, there is an opportunity. Then weaknesses can be used as strengths.
Dean of FE Unpri, Cut Fitri Rostina, SE, MM said that this activity aims to open students' paradigms. So that it can increase students' knowledge and understanding of entrepreneurship.
In addition, it is also to increase students' awareness of the importance of having an entrepreneurial spirit at a young age. At the same time providing motivation and tips to become a creative and energetic young entrepreneur.
"On that basis we are holding this seminar, with the hope that the younger generation, especially Unpri FE students, will be moved and take an active role in creating new jobs. We also encourage students to become successful, creative and energetic entrepreneurs in accordance with the theme of our seminar," he said.
Meanwhile, Kopertis Region-1 North Sumatra Prof. Dian Armanto when opening the seminar said that there are four characteristics of a good campus. Namely the quality of governance (management), quality of human resources, quality of research and quality of student activities. He considered the seminar to be part of the quality of student activities. Where innovation, creativity, how to turn Unpri students into entrepreneurs by utilizing the knowledge that has been obtained on campus.
