Closing with Cultural Night, UNPRI Successfully Organizes Independent Student Exchange – Inbound
Independent Student Exchange - Inbound Universitas Prima Indonesia
Thursday (13/01/2022) at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel, Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) officially ended the Independent Student Exchange Program (PMM) which was first held in the Odd Semester of 2021/2022. The event was themed "Night of Culture and Multiethnicity" by wearing all Traditional Clothes according to their respective regions from PMM Students to the guests who attended. Open without reason, the selection of Traditional clothes worn will also be accompanied by cultural performances from each UNPRI PMM Student ranging from dances to cultural parades.
The event was attended by UNPRI Vice Chancellor I as well as UNPRI MBKM Coordinator, UNPRI Vice Chancellor III, Deans in UNPRI, Deputy Coordinators, Nusantara Module Lecturers and all UNPRI PMM Students who are implementing the program online. "All planned Nusantara Module Programs have been completed, of course UNPRI has considered PMM Students to be part of the big family of the Universitas Prima Indonesia Academic Community," said Abdi Dharma, S.Kom., M.Kom as UNPRI Vice Chancellor I. UNPRI Vice Chancellor III Said Rizal, S.HI., M.A. also gave a welcoming speech with a message that all PMM Students at UNPRI will have sweet memories while in North Sumatra. Of course, this can be told when they return to their respective regions, said WR III UNPRI.
UNPRI successfully introduced the culture of North Sumatra to all PMM students, this is in accordance with the testimony given by Amiruddin from the Muhammadiyah University of Jakarta. "We are very happy to be able to see Lake Toba directly, even invited to get to know the Batak Tribe and various other ethnic groups in North Sumatra. In Java there is no mountain path like in North Sumatra so this is a new and unforgettable experience for us," said Amir.
The PMM Cultural Night was filled with various dances, a traditional costume parade, a PMM flash mob, singing traditional songs, and saying goodbye directly to the UNPRI leaders who were present.
UNPRI Chancellor Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting, M.Kes. said that UNPRI always fully supports all MBKM activities for all Outbound and Inbound Students initiated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Higher Education.
Tears of emotion closed the final activity of the UNPRI PMM Students which marked the farewell and closing of the Independent Student Exchange activities at UNPRI.
