800 Residents Join the 1 Year Anniversary

UNPRI PSDKU Pekanbaru Campus

Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) Off-Campus Study Program (PSDKU) Pekanbaru Campus celebrated its first anniversary, in the Pekanbaru Campus yard, Saturday (13/7/2024).

The activity with the theme "One Vision One Mission Towards Global Excellence" was attended by more than 800 people consisting of various levels of Riau society. They participated in various lively activities for the 1st Anniversary of UNPRI-PSDKU Pekanbaru Campus such as a fun walk, mobile legend competition, free health checks, and at the same time enjoyed the creative performances of UNPRI-PSDKU Pekanbaru Campus students.

This celebration was opened by the Director of UNPRI-PSDKU Pekanbaru Campus Dr. Salim Aktar, M.Pd. Also present at the event were the Head of Tangkerang Timur Village, the Tenayan Raya Police Chief, the Head of the Riau Province PKBM and the local RT/TW. Also present were various other levels of society.

In a separate place, UNPRI Chancellor Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting, M.Kes said that Universitas Prima Indonesia is a private university that has an Excellent Higher Education Institution Accreditation (AIPT). UNPRI PSDKU Pekanbaru Campus itself received a permit to hold it on June 16, 2023 with No. SK: 545/E/O/2023 with the Study Programs of S1 Psychology, S1 Information Systems, and S1 Management. "The presence of UNPRI PSDKU Pekanbaru Campus, Riau Province is our responsibility to participate in providing access to higher education services that are evenly distributed, quality, superior and competitive both nationally and internationally," said the rector.

The various activities held, said the rector, are one of the special gifts for the first anniversary of UNPRI PSDKU Pekanbaru Campus which is transforming to establish its identity and working wholeheartedly for the glory of the country.

Director of UNPRI PSDKU Pekanbaru Campus, Dr. Salim Aktar, M.Pd added, at a young age, UNPRI PSDKU Pekanbaru Campus has a very big ideal in creating new human resources in Riau and throughout Indonesia. Salim emphasized, in line with the theme of today's anniversary, namely "One Vision, One Mission Towards Global Excellence", UNPRI PSDKU Pekanbaru Campus formulated and established several policies, namely improving the competence and academic qualifications of lecturer human resources, implementing institutional quality assurance, building and adding academic facilities and other academic support. Then strengthening cooperation with government and private institutions.

"So it is not wrong if UNPRI PSDKU Pekanbaru Campus is the best choice for the community to register themselves, their families, and their friends to become students on our campus," said Salim Aktar.
