UNPRI Family Christmas Celebration in 2024 Was Lively

Medan,The 2024 Christmas celebration of the Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) Family with the theme "Living by Grace", Saturday (7/12/2024) at the 10th Floor Hall of the UNPRI Campus, Jln.Sampul no 3 Medan, was a success and lively.

The theme of UNPRI's 2024 Christmas Celebration is taken from Ephesians 2:8, namely For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God. The theme was also associated by Rev. Erni J. Purba, M.Th when delivering a Christmas reflection.

Reverend Erni Julianti Purba, M.Th explained, everything received during this life is because of the Love that God has bestowed completely and freely, so that no one should boast. "We are all also called to live in love and support each other," she explained.

To all students, Rev. Erni Julianti Purba, M.Th asked to be serious in studying by remembering that there is always a sacrifice of love from parents or guardians so that the future is bright.

"I ask all of you students to respect yourself as the Temple of God, and not to commit any defilement. For lecturers and education staff, I invite you to carry out your duties with love and do it as part of your service to God," he concluded.

UNPRI Chancellor Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting, M.Kes, stated that in 2024, the UNPRI Family Christmas Celebration will take the theme "Living Because of Grace", which is taken from the verse Ephesians 2:8, reminding us that our lives are the result of God's great grace.

“Everything we have, every blessing we receive, is because of His infinite generosity. Christmas is the perfect time for us to reflect on the meaning of this extraordinary love. The grace of God that has given us salvation through the birth and saving work of Jesus Christ in the world. Love that does not see our shortcomings, but instead lifts us up to live with higher hopes and goals,” he said.

In his report, the Chairperson of the UNPRI Christmas Committee, Ari Angga Depari (Agrotechnology Faculty Student), stated that the 2024 UNPRI Christmas Celebration fully involved the entire UNPRI family, both from structural, educational staff, lecturers, lecturers' families and students.

"We involve the entire academic community in the 2024 Christmas Celebration, because Universitas Prima Indonesia has extraordinary potential. The 2024 UNPRI Family Christmas Celebration is also filled with the provision of donations and love to 10 orphanages consisting of 2 nursing homes and 8 orphanages from various church denominations in North Sumatra," he added.

Also present at the 2024 UNPRI Christmas Celebration were the Chairperson of the BPH Yayasan Perguruan Tinggi Prima Indonesia Prof. Dr. Tommy Leonard, SH., M.Kn, the Chancellor of Universitas Prima Indonesia, Mrs. Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting, M.Kes along with the Vice Chancellors, Heads of Institutions, Heads of Bureaus, Deans, Study Programs, Lecturers at Universitas Prima Indonesia and all staff, and UNPRI students.
