Attended by 3000 High School/Vocational High School Students, UNPRI Chancellor Closes OPEN DAY 2025
UNPRI Open Day 2025
Medan, Attended by 3000 students from 50 SMA/SMK in Medan City and Deli Serdang Regency, the Chancellor of UNPRI closed OPEN DAY 2025 which took place from 3 to 8 February 2025. Some of the competition activities were held at the UNPRI Main Campus, Jln. Sampul No. 3 Medan, some were held at the UNPRI Indoor Stadium on Jln. Danau Singkarak Medan.
UNPRI Chancellor Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda, M.Kes., expressed her appreciation for the participation of the high school/vocational high school students in the UNPRI Cup (Badminton Match, Basketball Match, Futsal Match, Esport), UNPRI Got Talent (Poetry Reading, Dance, Singing) and Unpri Olympiad (Biology, Mathematics, Chemistry) as well as various seminars/public lectures during the week held at the UNPRI Main Hall Jln. Sampul No. 3 Medan.
"We hope that through the various activities carried out during Open Day 2025, high school students will get to know the UNPRI Campus more closely, especially with all the study programs offered and the facilities they have, and campus life in general. We also hope that a healthy and sporty competitive spirit will be created in the souls of all students in the future," he said.
To the winners, the Chancellor of UNPRI expressed his congratulations and highest appreciation. "Congratulations to the winners of the competition. For those who are not lucky, don't be discouraged, because the experience of competing/competing is also very valuable," he added.
At the end of his speech, the UNPRI Chancellor expressed his appreciation to all parties who supported the successful implementation of UNPRI Open Day 2025. "Hopefully this Open Day 2025 will leave a valuable impression on all participants. UNPRI is always open to high school students who want to join UNPRI," he concluded.
Before the announcement of the winners of the matches and competitions, a number of entertainers appeared to entertain the participants, such as Tiar Ronatama Silaban, a student of the UNPRI Faculty of Agro Technology who sang the song HERO, followed by Putri, a student of the UNPRI Faculty of Economics, dance from students of SMA Prayatna 1 Medan, Rifka from SMA Cinta Budaya and Mr & Mrs Talent UNPRI 2024, all of whom performed stunningly and entertained.
Accompanied by the vice chancellor, dean, head of study program, Secretary of Study Program, Head of Bureau and other UNPRI officials, UNPRI Chancellor presented prizes in the form of coaching money to all winners of the competition and matches and held a group photo session.
In addition to participating in competitions and matches summarized in the UNPRI Cup and UNPRI Got Talent as well as various seminars/public lectures, a number of high school students also opened stands/booths at the UNPRI Bazaar located on the 8th and 9th floors of the UNPRI Campus, Jln. Sampul No. 3 Medan. Various products were offered at the Bazaar for a week, ranging from various foods and drinks to pawnshops and banking.
