"UKM UC Explores Students' Photography Potential"
Student Activity Unit (UKM) as an effort to explore students' photography potential
Cultivating students' interests and talents can be done through various creative activities that are integrated in the Student Activity Unit (UKM) as an effort to explore their potential. "Through student institutions we can develop their soft skills as creative people who are able to develop and channel their talents and potentials, said President of Unpri Creative (UC) Feri Juli Efendi on the campus on Jalan Ayahanda, Tuesday (5/17).
He said that in lectures, students are explained for their abilities in the field of science with their respective majors. However, through UKM they are able to explore their talents and potentials, as evidenced by dozens of students who are members of UC holding a photography with the theme of a photowalk at Merdeka Walk Medan.
He explained that the activities held were inseparable from the many students who have a hobby of photography. So through this gathering, it is hoped that it can be a place for sharing and sharing for lovers and hobbyists of photography as well as expanding networks. Feri Juli Efendi said, this first activity was attended by dozens of participants with the aim of being a place for creativity in the field of photography.
In this photowalk event, the participants who enlivened the event gathered at Merdeka Walk, then explored by taking the same object in the area. Participants were given the freedom to take an angle of a photo angle on an object that was considered interesting and good. Such as old building objects.
The activity that lasted for about two hours, was enlivened by students from Universitas Prima Indonesia and Universitas Pelita Harapan. Even in
the activity, some participants were used as models and their photos were uploaded to Instagram.
Also present at the event were Cosplay Medan, Jeth, Janice from Raja Photo, and Ari Pratama, a Unpri student who also has a talent for singing and creating songs.
