54 UNPRI Lecturers Pass the 2026 Lecturer Certification (Serdos) with a 100 Percent Success Rate
Spanning Various Faculties and Programs, UNPRI Reaffirms Its Commitment to Academic Career Development up to the Professorship Level
Medan, September 18, 2026 — Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) has achieved an outstanding milestone in the 2026 Lecturer Certification (Serdos) program. All 54 permanent UNPRI lecturers who participated in the rigorous certification process successfully passed, marking an impressive 100 percent success rate. The successful candidates represent various study programs and faculties across UNPRI, including faculty members from the Specialist Medical Education Program (PPDS).
UNPRI Vice Rector II for Finance, Human Resources, and Infrastructure, Prof. Dr. Ermi Girsang, M.Kes., M.Biomed., AIFO., expressed her highest appreciation for this remarkable achievement. "This 100 percent success rate is the result of earnest preparation and the full support UNPRI provides to all lecturers undergoing Serdos. UNPRI is deeply committed to continuously facilitating the academic career advancement of our lecturers from their initial stages up to the rank of Professor, because the quality of our faculty is the ultimate foundation of the educational excellence we deliver," she stated.
As a strategic follow-up, the UNPRI Human Resources Bureau is currently preparing and processing the Academic Rank Promotions (JAD) for lecturers who have met the requirements for the ranks of Head Lector (Lektor Kepala) and Professor for Period 2 of 2026. This initiative is an integral part of UNPRI's structured and sustainable HR development roadmap.
Lecturer Certification is a mandatory requirement and a critical cornerstone in an academic career, serving as a prerequisite for attaining the highest academic rank of Professor. The professional allowance accompanying this certification is expected to further motivate UNPRI lecturers in executing the Tridharma of Higher Education—encompassing teaching, research, and community service—optimally and innovatively.
