Success of PMM 3: UNPRI Gets Quota of 200 Students

Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) is fully committed to organizing the Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) program of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Mendikbudristek). Independent Student Exchange (PMM) is a program from MBKM that aims to provide opportunities for students to gain learning experience at the Recipient Higher Education Institution (PT), and receive credit recognition. Meanwhile, for implementing Universities (PT), the implementation of PMM inbound can improve the PT's ability to manage student exchange programs, increase student diversity at the recipient PT while opening up a meeting room for students from the recipient PT and the sending PT, and increase cooperation between PTs in the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
In this PMM 3, UNPRI received a quota of 200 inbound students from outside the Sumatra region. Inbound PMM 3 students at UNPRI will get the opportunity to study for 1 semester in 17 study programs and choose 189 courses. UNPRI will also implement the Nusantara Module program which will study various cultures in the City of Medan and North Sumatra Province together with the Nusantara Module Lecturers. The Nusantara Module at UNPRI will explore the diversity of the archipelago 4 Series of Activities with four main focuses related to (1) Diversity (2) Inspiration (3) Reflection and (4) Social Contribution.
The Nusantara Module at UNPRI has the theme "Students Become Agents of Change in Building Tolerance and Celebrating Socio-Cultural Diversity in Society" which aims to increase students' insight and knowledge about the history of places and cultural heritage in Medan City. Some of the activities that will be carried out include: Visit to Maimun Palace; Visit to the North Sumatra Cultural Park; Visit to the Huta Bolon Simanindo Museum, Samosir Regency and Visit to the Ulos Batak Textile Entrepreneur. This program ensures that inbound students of PMM 3 UNPRI play an active role in building social relations with the community and increasing insight into the archipelago in North Sumatra as a form of diversity in Indonesia.
Head of BPH UNPRI Dr. Tommy Leonard, SH.,M.Kn emphasized that UNPRI is fully committed to supporting the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology.
"The implementation of the Merdeka Student Exchange Program (PMM) 3 is one form of UNPRI's responsibility to the Indonesian nation and state, especially in preparing quality human resources that are competitive in the industrial era 5.0," he said.
