Collaboration of Academic Expertise and Practical Experience:

UNPRI Actively Implements Teaching Practitioners 2

Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) along with other Higher Education Institutions (PT) in Indonesia have signed a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) for the Teaching Practitioner Program (PM) Batch 2 of 2023. This signing was carried out at an event held at the Horison Grand Serpong Hotel on Monday, May 15, 2023. The signing of the Cooperation Agreement was attended directly by the Vice Chancellor 1 of UNPRI, Abdi Dharma, M.Kom and the Coordinator of UNPRI Higher Education for the Teaching Practitioner Program 2, Friska Ria Sitorus, S.Pd, M.Pd, Ph.D.

Meanwhile, from the Ministry, Dr. Mohammad Sofwan Effendi, M.Ed (Director of Ristekdikti Resources), Muhammad Fajar Subkhan S.T. MT (Acting Director of Institutions and Resources for Vocational Higher Education), and Gamallel Waney, ST. MLA (Head of the Teaching Practitioner Program).

The Teaching Practitioner Program (PM) is a program designed by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti) in collaboration with the Education Fund Management Institute (LPDP). This program aims to improve the quality of higher education in Indonesia by presenting practitioners or experts from the industrial world or experienced professionals to teach in universities. This program is the second batch initiated by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education in collaboration with LPDP.

UNPRI's active role through active participation in 58 Collaborative Class Plans in the Teaching Practitioner Program Batch 2 shows the university's efforts to collaborate with practitioners and the Business and Industrial World (DUDI) to improve the quality of higher education for students. Through this collaborative class, students will gain valuable and relevant experience in the world of work. By involving experienced practitioners in teaching, students will gain in-depth insight into the latest developments in the industry and the skills needed in field practice. This will give them a competitive advantage when entering the world of work after graduation.

In addition, Universitas Prima Indonesia hopes that collaboration with practitioners will help strengthen networks and relationships with the industrial world. Through this program, the university has the opportunity to establish closer partnerships with companies and organizations, which can open up job and internship opportunities for students. With a strong relationship between universities and industry, it is expected to create mutually beneficial synergies, both in terms of research, curriculum development, and graduate placement.
