Internship Abroad: UNPRI Takes Students to Experience the Professional World in China
The Chancellor of Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) Medan, Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting MKes, represented by Vice Chancellor III UNPRI Refi Ikhtiari, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D and Vice Chancellor IV UNPRI, Dr. dr. Ali Napiah Nasution, MKT, MKM, Sp. KKLP (K), released the departure of UNPRI students, Sunday (6/4/2025), to take part in an internship in China.
The release of the students for the internship in China was carried out on the 10th floor of the UNPRI Campus, Jln. Sampul no 3 Medan. "The purpose of this student exchange and internship is to build friendship, where students can interact with students from various countries in China. Then to increase tolerance where students can understand and appreciate cultural differences, develop soft skills, develop leadership skills, self-confidence and social sensitivity," said Refi Ikhtiari, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D.
Vice Chancellor IV Dr. dr. Ali Napiah Nasution, MKT, MKM, Sp. KKLP (K) added that the student exchange and internship were also intended to broaden knowledge, because students can broaden their academic knowledge and insights globally. "It also organizes the transfer of knowledge. Students will see and feel the culture of lectures at Shandong Drug and Food Vocational College. FKKIGK students are invited to learn Traditional Chinese Medicine, while students of the Faculty of Economics will learn about online store management and digital marketing," he added.
In this student briefing event, the Vice Dean III of FKKIGK, Dr. dr. Linda Chiuman and the Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Economics Dr. Fenny Krisna Marpaung were present. The end of this event was marked by a photo at the Open Park Location, 10th Floor, UNPRI Campus with 32 students and companions who will depart for China.
