Medan, 2025 – Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) once again affirmed its position as the most prominent and leading private university in North Sumatra through the 9th Graduation Ceremony of 2025. This prestigious academic event was attended by thousands of graduates from various levels of study and served as an important milestone in strengthening UNPRI’s reputation toward becoming a World Class University.

As an institution that now offers 54 study programs across 8 faculties—most of which have earned “Excellent” accreditation—UNPRI consistently demonstrates its commitment to educational quality. The Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, and Health Sciences stand as the university’s pride, supported by other strong faculties such as Nursing and Midwifery, Psychology, Economics, Law, Teacher Training and Education, Science and Technology, and Agro-Technology. These achievements make UNPRI one of the private universities in Indonesia with the most comprehensive academic portfolio.

During the graduation ceremony, UNPRI Rector Prof. Dr. Chrismis Novalinda Ginting, M.Kes., with the support of the Higher Education Service Institute (LLDikti) Region I North Sumatra, led by Prof. Drs. Saiful Anwar Matondang, M.A., Ph.D., and the Universitas Prima Indonesia Foundation, reaffirmed the university’s commitment to continuously enhancing academic standards, research, and healthcare services. This mission is supported through collaboration with its own teaching hospitals, including Royal Prima General Hospital located in Medan and Jambi, Prima Vision Eye Hospital, Prima Dental and Oral Hospital, and UNPRI Hospital in Tebing Tinggi. The existence of these hospitals not only enhances the learning quality of medical students but also establishes UNPRI as a national and international center for healthcare development.

UNPRI is also recognized as the private university with the highest number of Specialist Medical Education Programs (PPDS) and master’s programs in the medical field in Indonesia. Supported by modern research facilities, including a Doctoral Program in Medical Sciences, UNPRI continues to gain recognition for producing world-class research that provides solutions to public health challenges.

Beyond academic achievements, UNPRI actively establishes partnerships with universities, institutions, and research organizations, both private and governmental, domestically and abroad.
