UNPRI Faculty of Economics Hosts “Ngulik Coretax” Webinar, Discussing Digital Tax System Transformation
Deep Dive into Coretax as a Strategic Step for Tax Administration Modernization in the Digital Era
Medan – The Faculty of Economics at Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) organized a webinar titled “Exploring Coretax: A Digital Tax System That Taxpayers Must Understand” on Thursday, December 19, 2025. The event was held virtually via Zoom Meeting and was attended by lecturers, students, and the general public interested in digital taxation issues.
The webinar featured expert speakers from the Gianyar Primary Tax Office: Matondang Elsa Siburian (Head of the Gianyar Primary Tax Office) and Lashuardi Widodo (Expert Tax Counselor). The session was moderated by Wilsa Road Betterment Sitepu, S.E., Ak., M.Si., who led the interactive and systematic discussion.
During the presentation, the speakers explained that Coretax DJP is a new tax administration system replacing DJP Online, aimed at modernizing national tax services. This system integrates all core tax administration business processes—from taxpayer registration and tax return (SPT) filing to tax payment, audit, and collection—into a single, integrated digital platform that enhances transparency and accountability.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fajar Rezeki Ananda Lubis, Dean of the Faculty of Economics at UNPRI, stated that this webinar is part of the faculty's commitment to strengthening digital tax literacy. “The transformation through Coretax DJP is a strategic step that needs to be thoroughly understood, especially by students as future practitioners and policymakers. We hope participants gain applicable knowledge relevant to professional world requirements,” he said.
Beyond conceptual introduction, the webinar also discussed the technical stages of Coretax DJP activation, ranging from identity verification to applying for a DJP Authorization Code for electronic document signing. This webinar reaffirms UNPRI's role as a responsive institution toward policy and technology developments, contributing significantly to SDGs 4, SDGs 9, SDGs 17 in preparing a workforce adaptive to digital transformation.
