Official Meeting and Collaborative Discussion on Strengthening Impactful Campus Curriculum

UNPRI, Medan – The Undergraduate Information Systems Study Program at Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI), under the Faculty of Science and Technology (FAST), continues to strengthen synergy with government agencies as part of its commitment to providing relevant and future-oriented education. A strategic step was taken by enhancing cooperation with the Medan City Communications and Informatics Office (Kominfo) for the implementation of the Impactful Campus curriculum.
Head of the Information Systems Program at UNPRI FAST, Agung Prabowo, S.Kom., M.Kom., explained that this collaboration aims to ensure graduates have the competence to design and manage information systems that meet industrial and modern government needs. This effort aligns with UNPRI's vision as a superior campus committed to improving education quality through sustainable Internal Quality Assurance Systems (SPMI).
The official meeting was held on Thursday (13/11/2025) at the Medan City Kominfo Office. Agung was received by the Head of Statistics and Public Information, Rizka Firdahlia, S.Sos. During the meeting, they discussed the importance of strategic partnership given Kominfo's role in the implementation of electronic systems and information technology in Medan City. "This partnership is vital so that students understand industry trends and are ready to work in various information technology-based sectors," said Agung.
The Kominfo Office expressed appreciation for the contribution of UNPRI Information Systems internship students, who are considered capable of supporting technical tasks such as data management and digitalization of public services. In the future, this collaboration will be expanded through training programs, applied research, and support for the development of Medan City's Smart City.
